  2. In the UK, any copying of the original media for ANY reason is currently illegal. This includes MP3 ripping, DVD ripping, taping sky+ onto DVDs (to be watched more than once) and mix-tapes whether you still own the original DVD/CD or not. Of course, if it's for personal non-profit use you can be sure you won't get in any trouble.
