The only beneficiary of those antics last night was Vitali. The pantomime has taken the focus of a very pedestrian performance.

For the brawl, apparently. Detained for questioning. Heavyweight boxing is such a fucking joke. I half expect to hear about George Foreman making another comeback.

I don't think it was put on like the Audley fight, these 2 genuinely hate each other as does Frank Warren hate Haye too.
I can remember when Haye fought Enzo Mac (Not even going to attempt to spell it) and Warren said if he loses he will give up promoting which he took a lot of shit for, he's also insinuated that Haye and his trainer have used HGH to bulk up from Cruiserweight in the past too.
I'd like to see them fight as I think it would be competitive unlike a Haye vs Vitali fight, I wouldn't read too much in to Chisora's recent record as he was robbed on the scorecards in his last fight, I know compubox doesn't give a fair reflection of the fight but he landed nearly double the punches of his opponent and still didn't get the decision.
Heavyweight boxing is terrible though and has been for nearly a decade.

Chisora vs Hayes should get billed as Bum Fights, would be about as entertaining as watching some hobos slug it out for a bottle of Thunderbird.

Think it might be a decent fight actually, although neither of them are that great. Could see it being a bit like the Haye v Macarenelli (don't know if that's the spelling either
) with them both just going for it and not worrying too much about defence. Think they'd be quite well matched too.

Chisora has shown he's durable enough with good stamina, 2 things that Haye struggles with so I think it could be a good one. Haye's fast with excellent power but his run at heavyweight is overrated due to winning a close fight with someone who's 7ft, even though the same bloke got a gift decision against old man Holyfield.
Speaking on the brawl I always remember Larry Holmes drop kicking someone off the top of a car.
Who were the 2 British guys (I think) rolling around in the street with their suits on in the build up?

Herbie Hide?
Pardew on Carroll (Dec 10) : "The number nine shirt here is legendary and he has shown the fans that he is big enough and good enough to wear it. It will be a massive, massive blow if he left so it's very important that he stays. Derek assured me that he will."
Pardew speaking about Liverpool deal with Enrique (Apr 13): There’s definitely no deal between the clubs – 100%”
Padrew speaking after losing Enrique to Liverpool (Aug 12): "We will get a striker and left-back over the line, 100%"

How good have the Klithscko's looked coming out of these last two fights, just with general attitude and decorum. Can we pretend they're British?
Shit the bed.

CHISORA LOSES FIGHT LICENCE
Dereck Chisora has had his licence withdrawn by the British Boxing Board of Control following his behaviour in Munich last month, according to his promoter Frank Warren.
The Londoner was involved in a number of controversial incidents before and after his WBC heavyweight title challenge against Vitali Klitschko, slapping his opponent at the weigh-in, spitting water at Klitschko's brother Wladimir and brawling with British rival David Haye following the points defeat.
Chisora was called before the Board in Cardiff today and Warren revealed he has had his licence taken away indefinitely.
"His licence got withdrawn and what will happen now is we'll consider whether to appeal the decision," Warren said.
