Not a fan

Matt did one pre season with a blue piping and it looked immense

The deal broke down so Denilson won't be signing.

Am I the only person that thinks Puma is the best kit make? The away and third shirts this year were brilliant. Next year, sort the home shirt out, go a bit more adventurous with a SINGLE away kit, and we're onto a winner.

They are NEVER gonna drop the 3rd kit imo. Its another certain money spinner.

Even if they do only sell 10,000 shirts @ £40 a pop thats still nearly half a mil.
We will finish 7th and win the FA Cup...Cabaye and Ben Arfa to take the PL by storm!!

Well, to be fair I have the third shirt (but only because my away shirt had Carroll on the back  :icon_lol: ) . But you never actually see anyone wearing it do you? Surely they don't actually sell that many third shirts? We've worn it once (against Wolves away) as far as I can remember too.

Iv no idea how many they sell...i have it. Is the best of the 3 imo.

Fact is having it and selling even a small number is better than not having it at all.

Away and 3rd shirts are always something of a lottery. I think the last non-black and white shirt that made the club a ton of cash would be the 1995-6 hooped throwback shirt. There have been some nice designs since but nothing that eye catching or classy, a difficult task with polyester!
I think this years offerings are quite sensible, nice plain designs in popular colours.
For me the biggest issue with the home kit is (not only the awful plastic sponsor patch) but the big back panel for the mumbers. Why don't we go back to red numbers on a retro style shirt next season?

Probably! I don't like the panelling across the chest on the away/3rd kits, and not a fan of the 'cupcake topper' badge on any of the shirts. I just want something simple, classy, slightly retro and as said above with a small white patch and red numbers on the back (like in the early 90's). Is that too much to ask?

Surely the old European black and light blue shirt sold well? That shirt was brilliant! A colour scheme they should go back to!

Best away shirts we've had in recent years are the Gold/black effort from when Kluivert was on our books, the royal blue one around about the same time and also the purple number we had a couple of years back.

Spot-on mate about the panel on the back. Im fucking sick of it. Last 3 home kits have had them. looks awful. Get the stripes on the back with a red number.

Wasn't that royal blue one ironed on stripes though?

Or was this your fave? :icon_lol:

My fave away shirt in recent times was the second all back one from 03-04 (I think) when we couldn't win a game wearing it.

Aye they were the iron on stripes - as was the purple kit too. Still one of my favourties.

Never been a fan of away shirts with black or white on them as I don't see the point.

The middle one I loved until I saw it in the flesh. Was like blue tin foil IIRC. Design promised so much too.

It might say something about the demographic of the board, have we been invaded by Kevins? :icon_lol:

To be fair I rarely wear one to the match anymore and when I do it's impractical, I've been after another Toffs vintage one for ages so I might just make the leap.
