For some reason, my wireless connection has just disappeared from my PC.

It is working fine on my iPad, mobile etc

Yet, all I am getting when trying to connect to it when on my PC is "no connections are available". Then when I troubleshoot, it's telling me to plug an Ethernet cable into my computer.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a Linksys WMP54G Wireless PCI Adapter if that's any help.

What have you tried?

Normally if you turn the router off & restart the laptop it should sort that out.

Can you see the wifi network (or any others)?

If not, reboot, if that doesnt work re-install the driver.

Have you not just disabled the wifi on your PC? There's a button on my laptop that I catch every now and again that turns off the internal wifi adapter

Just tried via ethernet as well and that's not working either.

How many other devices have you got connected to the router Jonny?

If you turn every device off and reset the router it may work or you may need to reset your I.P address.

Just my iPad at the moment.

I just find it strange how all of a sudden it's stopped working and can't even detect the network anymore.

Are your wireless and LAN  network adapters enabled?

Try disabling your firewall too to see if it makes any difference.
