I've now got the netflix application on my laptop, my phone, the wife's phone, my xbox and my parents wii. There doesn't appear to be any limitations to the account so technically I could just share my account details with whoever I wanted! Must be costing them a fortune on new subscriptions

Just noticed LoveFilm have a "High Quality" option when viewing now.

Anyone watching Lilyhammer on the US one? Original series made for Netflix starring Steve Van Zandt (Sopranos, E Street Band) about a mob boss who flees to Norway as part of the Witness Protection programme. It's canny good with some mint characters; Norwegian Elvis impersonator, property developer whose partner is a reformed muslim. I'm halfway through and it's very watchable and (I think) has been picked up for a second season.

Have the US version on my wii, it won't connect to Netflix today though. Wifi and all that is working fine.

Aye I can't get on the US one anymore either.   I only changed back to the UK one cos my lass wanted to watch fucking Spooks as well - I wouldn't care either, but it's fucking shite!

Ok basically unblock-us.com, which is the site whose DNS settings you've been using, are rumbling people that have been using the service for free.  No idea how they're doing it, but I've been unable to connect to US Netflix for days now, but I've just signed up to an unblock-us account (£3.20 or so per month) and I'm straight in to US Netflix on the PS3.

Initially it looks like they had no way of blocking free PS3/Wii/Xbox users in the way that they can if you try to connect from a PS3, but they've now sussed it.  Anyway, this effectively ups the cost of Netflix to a tenner a month, but it's well worth it imo.
