We've given up on Portugal. Expanded the search and immediately found tons of apartments in Lanzarote that fit the bill, so it's off to Costa Teguise in May. Which is what I'd have preferred in the first place anyway. Passive-aggressive win!
How did we get from the Blue Lamp Disco to cracking up in San Francisco?

Fancy renting a cottage on the West coast of Scotland for Easter, I have not been up there since I was a kid.
This summer we are either flying to Rhodes for a week and then onto Karpathos for 10 days or driving to Greece via Belgrade to visit friends.

Anyone going to New York might like this blog. It's basically a bloke moaning about how New York is going to shit, and focussing on the good stuff that's left. Down the right hand side of the page are guides to different districts in the city, sort of a hidden gems type thing.
I've linked to the guide to Gramercy, but there's plenty others to choose from.

Fancy going down the country but that's probably the extent of it. Might spend another few days in London through the summer, did so last year and really enjoyed it.

I'm off to Paris in February. Booked a meal and the 1st floor of the tower at 58 Tour Eiffiel. it was £130, so it better be decent. Its a surprise for the girlfriend. Other than that i've booked the tickets for the Eiffiel Tower tickets, and we plan on walking from the tower to Arc De Triumphe then from there to the Louvre. So a canny walk is planned.

Just got back. Thanks very much for the hostel reccomendation, it was an absolute blast. The girls who work there are stunning--hopefully I've not been banned.

Anyone been to Alcudia before, or C'an Picafort? Looking for 7+ nights all inclusive at either and not sure where to go, some people on TripAdvisor are twats like.
Are you looking for the cheapest possible all inclusive 4 star hotel you can get? I had a quick look on Teletext/icelolly last week and those two destinations were the ones that came up.
Then I decided that I didn't want to spend a week surrounded by cheap twats (like myself) who were only there because it was the cheapest possible holiday.

Booked up earlier, just gone 3 star self-catering. From the reviews the hotel seems really good, got 10 nights for a good price for the 3 of us so can't complain.
It'll be the first time the bairn's been abroad, looking forward to it!

Went to C'an Picafort when I was 13, and spent the entire time trying ( and failing) not to get a boner as I lusted over my mates elder sister.
Hope that helps Besty.

Spent most of the time lying on my front or in the pool.
Thinking back, she was a right rotter, but she was 18 , had tits, and would speak to me. The joys of 13yr old hormones!

You need a key to get into Gramercy Park. You only get one when you live in a building overlooking it
