The deal broke down so Denilson won't be signing.

Wigan, Wolves and QPR for me.

QPR could well finish bottom with the remaining fixtures they have.

Aye, QPR spunking money on Cisse (made of glass) and Bobby Zamora (good but not as good as the press would have you believe) reminded me of when the mackems desperately signed Flo and Stewart..whoops.
Shit the bed.

I stuck £20 on Villa go to down earlier in the season, so I'm afraid that's jinxed it. And even if they do, I can't remember what site I used.

I had an account with a betting site years ago and I can't for the life of me remember which one it was!

They might e-mail you if you've got some winnings to pick up. Then again, I can't see them sending a 'hey, you've got some money to collect, log in!' message in a hurry..
Shit the bed.

Blackburn are still in deep trouble for me.
Pardew on Carroll (Dec 10) : "The number nine shirt here is legendary and he has shown the fans that he is big enough and good enough to wear it. It will be a massive, massive blow if he left so it's very important that he stays. Derek assured me that he will."

Pardew speaking about Liverpool deal with Enrique (Apr 13): There’s definitely no deal between the clubs – 100%

Padrew speaking after losing Enrique to Liverpool (Aug 12): "We will get a striker and left-back over the line, 100%"

Bent proved at the mackems that he can get you goals in a crap side, could be the difference between staying up and going down. No Bent, Keane gone back to US..oh dear indeed.

They've won 1 game in which Bent didn't score this season.

Christ that's poor. I mean I know we've relied heavily on Ba finding the back of the net, but at least we've other players who can score. If we lost Ba we could still expect Best or Shola to pop up with the occasional goal or two. Who've they got? That Delfuonso kid? Agbonlahor?

I hope they go down, but I still think they'll stay up by virtue of being not as shit as Wolves, Bolton and Wigan.

Deliberately left him out because he hasn't had enough games yet. :finger:

agreed. It's certainly a case of who is less woeful than the others that will determine who stays up.

might still put a cheeky 5 quid on Villa going down like

I thought the signing of Bent is what saved them last season tbh.

They were bottom 4 when he signed but he scored 9 in the second half of the season to help them put a run together and finish the season on 48 points.

Hopefully it's delayed the inevitable.

Looks like it could be a cracking fight to the finish down there.

Wolves look gone and Villa only 5 points above the relegation zone.

We can but wish.  Sadly I think they'll be fine. Mainly due to other teams not bridging that gap.
You may say I'm a dreamer.....
