I think they'll have a stronger finish than us, though Ive not checked their fixtures. As I keep saying, there are 3 teams worse than us (at least) so we wont go down (Derby, Reading, Fulham to name 3).

Yes, but being a better team on paper means fuck all mate. I'm not saying we're in a dogfight right now, but in two weeks when we get smashed by Man Utd and if Fulham, Reading or Birmingham sneak a win, then things will be different. Anyone with half a brain should realise that.

Man U, ok (a point is possible but unlikely, 3 very unlikely), and there's some other nasty ones too. But much like last season, there's plenty of games we can win or at least draw.

There are so many teams worse than us that are below us. My aim would be to finish above 'Bro :hiya:

I can't see them like, people keep saying it but I'm still trying to pick one.

fucking hell mate as bad as we are, we've amassed more points than SEVEN other teams so they you go, we're better than 7 teams.

If you honestly think we're as bad as Derby or Reading you need your head read.

Derby are out of it and have been all season. The other two spots have anyone from seven or eight teams name on them yet though iyam and its gonna be less to do with who is where now and all about putting a run together over the last half dozen games. Anyone's capable of that and therefore equally anyone who doesnt is set for the drop.

Considering we've stayed 13th for so long now despite only picking up something like 3 points from 30, I'm starting to think that those below us are just that bad that we might just be alright. Its sad that I've come to accept that we're only going to stay up because other teams are so bad, not because we might pick ourselves up.

I always worried the 'Let's All Laugh At Sunderland' stuff would come back to bite us on the arse.

You're a bunch of hysterical school girls, we'll be fine (just like with last seasons relegation hysteria).

Aye, because my previous post was me saying we're definitely going down. In your crazy little world.

My 'Season 2007/2008 Sports Almanac' says we won't get relegated, some crazy old guy with a cane claiming to be a distant relative gave it to me and it's been spot on so far...

Aye, because my previous post was me saying you're definitely running around with your underpants on your head screaming we're all going to die. In your crazy little world, I guess.

Now stop with the hysterics, just like last season there aren't justified.

I have a feeling we might lose to Blackburn.

Slightly more worried after Brum and Reading getting results today. Still blind faith though and dont think we'll drop.

One of the biggest things that scares me is that Smith might be picked to start again next week.

Hopefully it won't be long before he gets another yellow card - he'll be suspended for two matches when he does.

As Ive maintained, I think what will stop is going down is another team (and I class Fulham and Derby as gone) having a harder run in.

Just look at bolton : Liverpool h, wigan a, man u a, man city h, arsenal h, villa a, west ham h, boro a, spurs a, sunderland h, chelsea a

Wigans is also pretty tough.

Then again, ours aint that pretty <_<
