  3. This club has now fucked me off to the point that I had forgotten we’d even been playing until I got home from the pub at about 9:30 last night and saw the result on BBC website. That’s the first time in my life. How sad really. Thanks Mike fucking Ashley.

  5. 'Will Rafa take the reins for this one?' I've never come across a more deluded fanbase than the mackems, honestly do they even know they're in league one?

  11. Iffy decisions all round from our players at times to yet another ref who'll never give a Newcastle man the same benefit of the doubt he'd give to one of the glamour clubs at the top. Fucking sick of watching lads who really shouldn't be anywhere near a PL game constantly getting games for us because Mike Ashley. Every game's a nail biter. Sooner the cunt fucks off and we don't have to rely on at least a quarter of our side being championship cut price bargains or loans, the better.

  13. I met Roger a couple of years back. Brolga who runs the sanctuary is just about the best human being I’ve ever met. For all Roger lovers his son Monty is his spitting image and is now the alpha male of the group. He, like his dad, also has gigantic bollocks. Unfortunately, I can’t find a picture of him/them. Whilst we were there Brolga said to us “ you guys from the UK?...do you know Chris Evans from the BBC? I”m just about to speak to him live in his radio show” I passed on my commiserations to him, he looked a bit non plussed when the (then &) current Mrs PL jabbed me in the ribs and hissed at me to shut the fuck up. Then after walking through the sunset surrounded by dozens of awakening kangaroos we headed back to the shed wear they keep the feed for the young orphans. We were then told to wait whilst Brolga and his staff checked for & chased out a couple of gigantic western brown snakes, apparently the most venomous reptiles on earth 🐍

  14. Middle class white men know all about what Sterling is going through. Edit: that was a dig at Piers Morgan rather than you btw

  18. Aye. Reminds me of the line of argument about EU-funded projects in "the regions". "The EU funded all these improvements around here!" "Yeah, but it was our money in the first place, we could fund them without having to go through Europe" "And you reckon a UK government would actually do that?" "......"

  20. Our starting XI cost roughly £47m. I can't imagine there's too many other sides in the Premier League this weekend that cost less than that.

  21. Aye, this squad would go right down without Rafa. You can see how he wants them to play and it’s often clear as day when their limitations cause it to break down. At this point I’m convinced that anyone who defends Ashley must be on the wind up. We had Yedlin playing CB when Fernandez had to go off as well as having to play Manquillo, that shows how ridiculously under strength the squad is. The most expensive player we had on the pitch was the £13M Ritchie, after that there were a few £6M players, some £4M, a couple £2M with frees and loanees mixed in, in the 2018 Premier League that is absolutely shameful. We can’t be too far off what mid-table La Liga, Serie A, or even Ligue 1 teams squads are worth, and these are leagues whose mid table sides make a hell of a lot less than the Prem.

  22. Agree wholeheartedly, we played well today but it’s difficult for us to win a game unless everyone is playing to 100% and we’re incredibly lucky that Rafa is able to get so much from a limited squad.

  23. It's so frustrating. We literally have to play every game like a non league side in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. We have to run twice as far and battle twice as hard as the other team to mask the fact we have a squad full of championship players. And 1 mistake over 90mins usually means dropped points. Its getting boring now and there's no hope Rafa stays beyond the Summer if Ashley still owns the club.

  24. I see Piers Morgan is being a tit about this. Comparing the abuse Beckham received after getting sent off at the World Cup to the abuse Sterling regularly receives. I can’t wait until the day that melted face abhorrent cunt fucks off from the media.

  30. I know, it's tragic. And his followers all blow smoke up his arse for it. It's sad to see, especially when you compare him now to the confident young lad in his 20s who was the life and soul of the party. All the lads wanted to be his mate and all the lasses wanted to be on his arm. Even if he gets himself properly sober we will never get the old Gazza back
