  2. My worry was that after this run of games against most of the top sides we’d be getting cut adrift. We’ve come out the other side 5 points clear of the bottom 3 (depending on Cardiff’s game), I’m feeling a lot more confident we will stay up tbh.

  3. Dubravka's an excellent keeper but hard to defend that howler, really. Not sure if it was a slip in concentration after defending for so long but it undone all the defense's good work up until then. Very undeserved for Spurs, I'd say but that's how it goes sometimes. 4 points from Man City and Spurs would have been amazing but sadly, it wasn't to be. I thought Longstaff had another solid game once he got a few touches, Perez looked lively and a tad faster than usual; that's what competition does, I suppose. Would have been nice to see a bit more of Berroca but the circumstances weren't right. Still, bit of a kick in the teeth and could have been well avoided.

  4. Bottom line, you need to do better with your chances and we did have some. Still should've got a point but for a howler. It's the hope that kills you.

  8. Which 'experts' are in the studio ready to slag off Rafa's tactics? So far happy with 0-0 at HT.

  9. For all they’ve had the ball, they’ve not done too much with it, which is credit to our organisation in defence. And we’re starting to put a few attacking moves of our own together. Classic Benítez tactics: stay in the game then try grow into it

  11. That owner doesn’t have the money to bankroll them out the Championship, they’re not a draw TV wise, and sell their tickets for cheap. If they did manage to get promoted they’ll be Championship relegation fodder. The two carpet baggers are just hoping they can get to the Championship and sell for a profit imo, the Will Grigg purchase was them gambling on trying to get back. If it doesn’t work I think they’ll have to cost cut even more and will end up mid table League One. Its got the potential to be fucking hilarious.

  12. I don’t think the loan has anything to do with the asking price. Otherwise he could’ve easily ask for just 200m (or less) plus his loan in instalments. its all a scam tbh

  15. What a cunt. Incidentally, this is a boomer thing. My Dad was a kid through the war, think the machine gunners, he would have been that age and from exactly the same area. My mum (she's always hated "mam" incidentally) is a bit younger but grew up in the rationing era. Both are vehemently opposed to Brexit, as was my wife's grandad who fought at Normandy and passed away last year (aged 101). Point is, this isn't just an anecdote. The stats show people who were directly affected by the war tend to be remainders. Their kids, happy to be regaled by talks of the war, and playing with matchbox soldiers, are Leave. Mortgage paid, already in retirement or close to it etc. People like @Christmas Tree fall into that category. So it's wrong to blame all older people as causing Brexit. Imagine fucking up your kid's future on purpose? Actually, I can't, but that's what these entitled fuckers are doing. Including Christmas Tree.
