  1. I'm so pleased we ended up with this big German nugget, he just puts a huge smile on my face I love the way he just seems to be enjoying playing, so refreshing

  2. Dunno if this has been mentioned but I thought it was pretty shit that there wasn’t a minute’s silence/applause for McFaul today. Won the fairs cup with us, played over 290 games and managed us at time when we had jack shit. May not be Shearer or Milburn but I think he deserves a bit more than what we did for him today.

  5. He lost 4 derbies in a row. He should be hanged from the Tyne Bridge.

  6. Next home game is Benfica on 21st. European opposition; might be fitting for a Fairs Cup winner? ....

  7. SORRY IF THERE IS ALREADY a thread on here but could not find one? Really top man who played nearly 300 games as well as managing in a difficult time when we were selling our best players. He was the manager when i first started going to games and i sent my home shirt to the club to ask if any players could sign it? Got a lovely letter back from Willie along with the shirt signed by the whole fucking squad ! Dont think that would happen these days. Anyway, an absolute disgrace that there was no minutes silence before the game yesterday for him, a club legend as a goal keeper who played in the Fairs cup winning team and managed the club too. RIP Iam.

  9. I’m not sure the “it’s not my creation” was entirely necessary there. It’s not even close to the photoshop masterpieces you seemingly knock out at will.

  10. He's a quality player who will obviously come good for them but, I don't think their style is really set up to get the very best out of him. Salah isn't Jacob Murphy who would always be looking to set him up. Salah, whilst clearly someone who creates a lot as well as scoring, is someone who will always look to come inside and even when he's not looking for goal himself, he's going close down Isak's space. I just don't see him scoring the amount of goals for them that he could have scored here. I think Arsenal would have even been a better bet for him. Happy to see him and belatedly them, struggle a bit because they have been the luckiest team on earth for most of this season.

  11. It's less than a week since he got Man of the Match in the CL so let's not be too harsh on him.

  13. Always liked Pards. Never heard a bad word said about him. Except from players and their wives.

  16. I loved how no one was getting the ball off him for the pen. He was like a kid in the playground after missing out on taking one midweek. No fucker was getting the ball off him. What a hit too and will keep his confidence up after missing a couple of good chances.

  18. Confidence is a big factor in any player. As is mental strength. Both will be tested by the entitled cunts who attend their home games if he’s not having a blinder every week

  26. He’s doing very well considering, if Wissa comes back firing on all cylinders the Big Man/Little Man potential is mouthwatering tbh.

  27. i thought that too in his first few games but there are signs in the past two games that the players are learning how to play off him. he also gives us an out ball that didn't exist when isak was up top. his ability to control it with his back to goal and bring other's into play is as good as i've seen for us since shearer tbh. some of his lay-offs and little touches while holding the ball up yesterday were exquisite. he was also getting into the box on the end of chances. okay, he missed a couple of good ones but at least he was getting into the right positions as a CF, which is encouraging

  31. Agent Isak IMO. A carefully orchestrated plan engineered by Isak, Mad Dog and PIF to destabilise Liverpool. Bring him home.

  32. Need sky to get Bellamy, Keane, Souness and Dyer back on to apologise and retract some of the absolute horse shit they've said about the club and fans without any right of reply through the years. I'll not bother waiting up.

  35. It does seem strange, but there may be mitigating circumstances. For example, if the club have invited the family to a game post international break and they're waiting to do it then. For them to wear the armbands but have no minute silence, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that is going on.

  36. I mentioned earlier if we had one or did I miss it? I totally agree with you, the amount of minute's silences/applause etc we have throughout a season these last few years a lot of the time with fuck all to do with anyone NUFC based and then yesterday nothing? They had black armbands so it's not as if they didn't know. A very poor look in my opinion and it seems unless you played in the 90s with a grandad collar or later on then the club doesn't want to know? Like how they treat some fans it doesn't shine a particular good light on NUFC despite the bullshit some CEOs will occasionally come out with about 'lifeblood' and other sound bites.

  39. We're in trouble lads. The MLFs of the SMB have been doing some serious investigative journalism with ChatGPT. Since we were taken over by the Saudis, we've had TWENTY FOUR times as many penalties in the premier league as Sunderland have!!! Can anybody spot a flaw in this logic?
