When he first came on the scene under Rafa I thought he’d be England standard. He puts the effort in and that’s all you can ask.

isn’t that just generally Longstaff from most of last season? There must be something that makes him valuable in the team which isn’t visible to the naked eye. I suspect he gets good positions both attacking and defensively.

oh yeah. He 100% has the ability to do it but his body language, application and his behaviour this season would mean he won’t get anywhere near it. His lack of effort is actually disrespectful to the club. Love it.
