So does that make him a 6 or an 8 then?
Either, or both, I would guess similar to Bruno.

Must have switched the mic of at Sky because it sounded like a morgue. Then I had to pick up the kids up and it sounded very noisy on radio Newcastle. I'm going on Monday and looking forward to the celebrations (hopefully).
I'm sure TV usually puts there crowd microphones by the away fans.

If Howe came up with Trippier standing taking their shit and leaving Isak out of it and/or it was Trippier's idea, I'd give them both the freedom of the city and manager/player of the year right now.
My guess would be Trippier.

As a total aside apropos of nothing - When Shields won the FA Amateur Cup in 1969 (I was there!!) at old Wembley, my dad was speaking to some of the players afterwards (our neighbour was Shields' Captain's sister) and he'd asked what they felt playing at Wembley, to a man they said it was awful and like playing on a cabbage patch and totally exhausting.
I was living in Swindon in 1969 , and went to a few of their games. Including the League cup final against Arsenal at Wembley.
The pitch was absolutely awful , more sand and mud than grass , they held the horse of the year show there shortly before.
There are sure to be some videos on you-tube of the game ,

At our local brewery, all the workers were allowed 2 bottles a day. When we were doing building work there ,we were allowed 2 bottles as well. Had a cupboard full of brown ale when we finished working there.

I read that earlier. What does he expect the answer to be to the question he poses in his last par? Well, Jonathan. I for one am a big fan of torture and murder.
there is only one question Newcastle fans and football more generally needs to ask: how do you feel about torture and murder?
I was all in favour of it
But now he is gone it's not needed

The BBC still believe Bruce gives them some idea of what formation to play .
When all he does is put 11 names on a sheet and says go and play.

You're conflating multiple different issues to try and justify this, it's embarrassing for the club for and should be an ethical problem for any none firestick fan.
The fact the current Tory Government wont stand up to this family is no justification for getting directly in bed for them. The fact you disagree with the Government's relationship with Saudi says a lot doesn't it? Ethically it's pretty simple, we are going to be owned by a rotten individual who makes Mike Ashley look like a saint. If you are ignorant of all of this anyway and 'dont care about politics' then whatever but if you are someone who finds the Saudi family disgusting, condems their genocide in Yemen, the assassinations, treatment of women, gays etc then you should be disgusted at this and not at all impressed that the clubs history is now intertwined with the Saudi family. We are meant to celebrate arm in arm with people like that who you would otherwise find abhorrent? You can just look the other way when its people like this.
At the very least, all those who were vocal criticizing Ashley's ethics with stuff like the price hike need to buckle themselves in for a long ride, unless you are a massive hypocrite you should be seething about some of the stuff this lot get up to.
It's dark days and deeply embarassing.
We must be getting a big club ,we are attracting new members already

Took my boy there a few years ago .All the home players came by car and had someone park for them far end of the Milburn,
a few signed autographs. Every time I've been , the away players were signing by the main entrance after the game
,don't know where the Newcastle players came out.

You forgot that there will be people interested in buying the club in January.
As long as there are no fan protests to put them off

Carver: "I can't be too critical of anyone in that dressing room. We are not ready to quit and throw in towel. Me and rest of my staff."
He would quit and say I'M NOT UP TO THE JOB if he had the best interest of the club at heart

Last time we went to Manchester, we won with a reserve side
Pardew thinks he is clever enough to do it again

That's pissed me off
I thought Smith was out of conrtact this year

What a surprise though, Ashleys fave paper points out how skint we are and how much Colo is costing us just as the transfer window opens
That's what i thought.
But it is a ridiculous amount of money for a player most of us were hoping to see the back of in the summer
even if he does look better in the 2nd division.

supposedly alan smith has broken his cheek bone
that's real bad news, he's a lot better than Butt
We played a midfield of Pancrate wide right, Butt, Smith, Guthrie wide left
played OK without looking dangerous
If Lovenkrands & Jonas had been on earlier we may have nicked it

It's hilarious how almost everyone thought of Phil Brown, when I read this yesterday, all the signals were point to him, I'm convinced it's him, I even changed his wiki page to mention it, but it was removed
apparently the brothel is in the Portsmouth area

Good result in the end but im dissapointed we sat back and didnt push on for more...anyway job done and some good performances.
Will Smithy ever score? haha poor lad
Never liked Smith , until this season where he has looked really good playing as a holding
midfielder , far better than Butt.
I really hope we can hang on to him .
