  1. oh give over! No matter what music he had used in the background, someone would have said the music is shit. Anyway i make videos and i agree this is the best one yet. Good Job mate! PS: Including that Shane Ferguson skill will get you bonus marks from CT. Was canny like.
  2. If Accrington Stanley had offered us 30 million for him, we would have sold him. Your own fans know you paid too much. Another 6th place finish next season and he'l be wanting to come back.
  3. And until that point comes you want us to sell our best players, buy average players and just use the club as a business to fill FMA's pockets? Fucking deluded all of you. Enrique is a quality player, we all know that and jonas was the only fit to play winger we had at the club, FACT! so why say you would snap their hands off. You may have 22 million to spend, but no decent players would want to come knowing they'll be playing alongside Danny simpsons and Guthries. I disagree with signing players and putting them on high wages straight away but when some1 like enrique has shown his worth, you need to put your hand in your pocket and give them a high wage packet, to make them stay. He should be one of the highest paid players at the club. Only player, YES ONLY PLAYER, i really enjoy watching from Newcastle, and when he scored that goal against forrest in the championship, it was one of the highlights of the season for me. When newcastle players dont want to sign new contracts and then you all mock them on these forums for not showing loyalty, you need to open your eyes and realise its your fucking business plan of selling good players to liverpool n co and replacing them with untested foreign players, that is making the club lose its reputation and its profile. Even though i was happy with the carroll money, as a one off, when we accepted that 30 million for him, you need to realise we didnt just sell the player, we sold part of the clubs ambition. Deals like that make other players want to move on, and that might be the case for enrique. I BEG EVERY1 ON THIS SITE TO STOP THINKING OF THIS CLUB AS A MONOPOLY GAME. I agree financial stability is important but dont you guys want to go to st james park and watch good players play the beautiful game?
  4. It was made before The Office. Lmao! Ok i guess its not then. To be fair ive never watched any of his stuff before so i assumed it was his new material. And yes it iss the one with signor whippy.
  5. Watching Peter Kays 'The ice cream man cometh' where he plays an ice cream man who is finding it hard making a living, so starts selling porn DVDs through the back window! haha! As soon as an adult comes he tells the kids to hang on a minute shuts the front window, opens the back windows and is selling DVD's like screwballs 2 or shaving ryans private. Another funny scene is where they show him having a police radio in the ice cream van, and as soon as he hears an accident has happened, he zooms off to the incident, knowing there will be a crowd. He drives into the scene with his ice cream van music playing shouting 'where theres tragedy theres trade'. I think its on youtube, if youre really bored an nothing else to watch. Nothing like The Office, but funny nonetheless.
  6. http://www.nufcfans.co.uk/2011/05/i-have-a...+%28NUFCfans%29 The above link is a good read. He talks to a french website on why he moved to newcastle and what he hopes to achieve etc. The part that didnt look too promising was when he said:
  7. For all those who wanted to know what shefki kuqi has been upto, well let me tell you, the subs bench isnt the only thing hes warming up http://www.twitvid.com/6NAE6
  8. Nar mate you missed it, a twitter row I had with Danny Simpson, referring to Man Utd, as "United", he didn't take kindly to my comments, and it spiralled from there. Even the N-O rent boys got involved. I'm an OTL-er Stevie. (Oot the Loop). Did you call him a mug? And what did he call you? I did actually. He referred to Manchester United as "United" on his twitter an employee of Newcastle UNITED with 15000 toon fans reading his pish. I said it was disrespectful, he said I'll call them what I want, so I said fuck off to Manchester then. Next thing all of the young toon fans every where talking to me like they're muslims abusing Salman Rushdie. However, people with a clue and all the older lads almost to a man, completely shared my sentiments. If I used Twitter.....I'd have agreed with you Stevie In fact, I don't know what I find the most sad, the easily offended muslim pc correct types or Danny Simpson standing his ground and not seeing the point. Interesting how youre both offended (and rightly so) by Simpson calling another team Utd, and that you find it disrespectful, yet the metaphor you use to describe the actions of the clueless mugs who didnt see your point to that of muslims abusing salman rushdie. The same guy who was disrespectful and offensive to muslim beliefs. Ironic dont you think?
  9. Nice, atleast the foundation will get £50. But i really do hope kenneth is paying and not tiote's nutz. Nothing personal, i just want to see us spend in the summer. Can i just clarify something about the bet? If we sell enrique for 10 million hypothetically speaking, and then spend 19 million, that will count as spending 9 million right.
  10. Great player and fitting video. It was hard not to like solano.
  11. Hard to get closure if your ex lass left you for a richer bloke. Hurts even more when your ex lass was pretty good in bed too. But yeah i get your point. Time to move on.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21tVOKKwpJM HD Video of Carroll vs M. United.
  13. This. No shape at all. Everton getting chance after chance. Arteta having a good game.
  14. Same here, back to the drawing board. anyone got a decent river that isn't borked? refrsh it, its back on!
  15. Ive got a river that hasnt buffered once since ive been watchin (35 mins or so). Pm me if you want it.
  16. Only you. mate. Only you! That is quality chez! Im jealous. PS: Why didnt you take a picture with balotelli too ? (in the background)
  17. This. I remember i was the same when i first joined. Like Jon said if you want people to debate your topics, then try to cut them down and avoid topics already discussed. And just remember, theyre quick to bite on this forum, very rarely do you see any encouragement. With regards to Sturridge, he looks a good player. I rememeber telling my brother , we should put Best on the market as soon as he scored that hatrick and then use some of the money to go for Sturridge. He thought i was mad to be wanting to get rid of a player who just scored a hatrick in his debut premiership season. Another player i wish we go for in the summer is Van Aanholt. He had a really good spell here and hes still young. Would make a good back up OR replacement (God forbid) for Enrique if he was to ever go.
  18. Yes get in there!!!!!!!!!! Nolan you beauty! PM me if you want a link. You'll need firefox and an internet connection wont go a miss.
  19. Because of how he invests. Clearly man city have more ambitious owners than us and therefore more potential. Our potential remains irrespective of whether you think it'll be fulfilled though Well the potential is there for an Arab to buy Everton, build them a new ground and buy a new team. They have the fan base there Do they? I'm not sure that's true. They don't sell out Goodison, they've a bigger club across the road and they've not tasted genuine success in years. We have a city to ourselves, a huge and loyal fanbase that was topping 45,000 in the second tier of football, we've been mismanaged for over a decade and all it would take is a reasonably savvy owner to turn us from a sideshow into a main-event. Forget about the crowds and the stadiums for 5 minutes. We are a mid-table club that are willing to listen to offers for our best players and move them on, banking the cash. We operate on a tight budget and refuse to break the wage structure for any individual player. A deal will break down on the grounds of it, and new contracts won't be agreed with existing players for the same reasons. Taking those circumstances into account we are indeed on an equal footing as the likes of Everton. I don't like it any more than the rest of you, but it's fact. And we can't use the fact that we are a one club city, have a better stadium and that we have more people turn up every other week as one-upmanship. i wouldnt have posted if i read this.
  20. Good post because its more of a reality check than anything else. I can see Leazes drooling over this one, if he has any saliva left from the last few posts. Anyway, I wouldnt settle for us being a club like Everton in the long term future because i dont want to spend the rest of my life worried about how we fair against the likes of wigan, bolton, blackburn etc. I dont want to spend my conversations talking about how Carroll used to play for us, and what could have been if he stayed, or talking about how we're linked to players like bothrod n co. I want to be talking about how our strikers clattered vidic, to score top corner,or how enrique ripped open the bayern defense, or how barton crunched gatuso in a tackle etc. Unfortunately none of that looks likely because there isnt any real stability in our club at the moment for us to really think about progressing in the near future. Ignore our pseudoposition in the league for a second, because realistically we're more likely to go down than up from 9th. Firstly, all the talk at the club seems to be about players going and not big players coming. Partly because we have a fat greedy cunt of an owner who arguably hates his own fans more than any other owner ever to have graced the premiership. Number 2, our manager is basically a puppet to this cunt, who is trying to convince the fans that he'l do what we want and whats best for the club, while seeming totally oblivious to the strings attached to his arse and hips. (although ive been impressed by his handling of things on the field) So if you step back a little and look at the bigger picture, i think settling for being an Everton (in terms of stability, owner, manager, club dynamics etc and not support/history etc), and considering our current position, i feel its something we should all accept with open arms (for the next few years anyway and then think of looking ahead).
  21. If I may put in my two cents worth - everyone keeps saying that Carroll for 35 million is a no brainer but youve got to remember that Carroll wasnt the only thing we sold for that 35 million, we sold parts of our culture, our name and our reputation. Selling him sends the message out to other players (those playing for us and those in other teams) that we're not aiming high. If we hadnt sold Carroll maybe Enrique would never have said i 'aspire to more' (if he did say tht). He must be thinking if a player born and bred on Tyneside, doesnt want to stay here, why should he. The point is, selling Carroll sends out a negative message. So technically for 35 million, we may have lost Enrique, Tiote, Carroll, A chance to play in europe maybe? I think we should stop debating this topic until next Season, when we will have a better idea about Enrique, Tiote and what Ashley does with this 35 million.
  22. Before you read this, remember its just my opinion and like you said im just a keyboard typer. I dont know how long youve been there but i was in Lashkar Gah for about 4 months last year, working under Dr Steve Pedley and Michiel Hoffman. We had a chance to meet some troops working in helmand. I have a lot of respect for you guys and the job youre doing. However, whilst working there in the hospital, you see casualties on both sides and you just wish things were avoidable. I think its important that youre out there but I dont think you can ever truly defeat the 'taliban', you can however push them out of afghanistan and into places like pakistan and iran etc, which is what has happened. Taliban isnt just a group of people carrying out terrorist attacks, its a corrupt, evil way of thinking. Since the 'Taliban' is responsible for 9/11, and you said thats why it was inevitable to attack afghanistan, why dont we now attack Iran, Uzbekistan and Pakistan, places where the Taliban admit to having a base. There was this afghani i spoke to at the hospital, who said hes glad that the troops have come but the problem is that out of 50 taliban people that are killed, if two or three inocent civilian are killed, it leads to more hatred. The family of that one innocent individual whether its his father or brother, will have no hesitancy in taking his own life as sucide bomber, if it means a few soldiers die. One innocent person dying will lead to about 20-30 people being pushed towards the ''Taliban''. Ive even heard rumours about taliban people killing afghanis and blaming it on the troops. So basically we're fighting a really tough battle. If the government is adamant on spending more money abroad, spend it on educating people in afghanistan. Thats how the taliban work, through lies and brainswashing, so why dont we counteract it by teaching their kids about Right and Wrong. When our troops leave Afghanistan, if you can honestly say that the taliban is finished and that the possibility of terrorist attacks happening in uk/us has gone or even been diminished, il say this War was justified. Having said that, One positive thing since 9/11 is that the uk has brushed up on its terrorist control. Every other week we read in the paper about how a terrorist plan has been foiled by police. Most people when talking about war, talk with their hearts and dont see the bigger picture . People see that our troops have died and therefore if any cunt makes any comment about the war not being justified, hes out of order. If Blair and Bush had decided to hold Iran responsible instead of afghanistan, and u were in Iran at the moment, would you really give a fuck about the oppression in afghanistan by the taliban? Like i said all this is just my opinion and im sorry if i offended you by any remarks.
  23. You don't want to be disrespectful, but you accuse a man who was working for a better future for Afghanistan - and putting his life on the line for it - of doing a pointless job. Nice going buddy. RIP to a brave man trying to do a noble job in difficult circumstances. Ive worked alongside some of the medics in afghanistan when i did my gap year. I dont think youre in any position to say he was working for a better future for Afghanistan. He was however, serving his country and may his soul R.I.P.
