  1. He played up top with Trezeguet 1st game of the season when Hercules beat Barca. Hercules have a megabucks owner now so he'll be on a lot more than we can offer him Hercules will just be paying his Madrid wage or a % of it. His RM wage is circa 50k a week, he'd be worth it. wouldntr that spoil our wage structure??? hope not
  2. 8m bargain in todays market but i,d be worried about the anxiety issue if true, 52000 geordies should sort that out mind

  6. Aye you're right, the finances were sound, Ashley just put over £100m in for the craic the ground cost ashley 65m leaving 35m which he promptly added the following years wages regardless of income stood at 120m according to reports when he wanted 400m from arbs? So when did the city council terminate the 99 year rolling lease we have with them for SJP and prompty sold it to Ashley? as far as I understand the rolling lease may not have been discounted but from transfer of ownership rent became payable immediately, its like saying ahley paid the debts off then said they were owed to him, nothing good
  7. I think we will stay up but not due to management, the players and maybe manager need to take credit for this, the premier league is horrendous in its divisions mind, and I worry that no debt has been paid whatsoever and is still in price for club, ashley quote 2002 by the times , " he comes and parks a tank on your lawn and theirs nothing you can do"

  13. For me its now all about the summer. It we dont spend a lot then we finally will have no doubt about his intentions. To be fair there's only you and Skidmark that don't see the guy for what he is. I disagree. I think there was quite a few on this forum who were starting to believe that with the likes of Tiote and Ben Arfa, getting contracts for the likes of Carrol sorted out, that we were on the up and heading in the right direction. The progress since relegation would never satisfy the likes of Leazes , but I think a lot of Ashley haters still had some belief creaping in that the club was heading in the right direction. Carrols sale has stalled that belief for me, which is why I say the summer spending bill will be make or break. Like I have said, almost since he had hardly got his foot through the door, his sole aim was to stay in the premiership, while spending as little as possible and pocketing as much as possible, through selling our best players. He bought into the myth that we "always had 50,000 crowds" like lots of other fuckwits - not even just southerners because lots of NUFC fans attracted to the club by the previous regime also gullibly bought into it - and has now had a shock and will get an even bigger one when season ticket renewal time comes, unless he has found a buyer. He bought people pints in the Bigg Market, a cringeworthy attempt at a PR exercise to buy popularity when he knew all along he had no ambition on the pitch, along with his other stunts which capitalised on the misguided unpopularity of the previous owners, among those who didn't understand what they had done for the club during their time in charge, and had became used to the club showing ambition, thinking it was an automatic thing. Ambition is a choice, which was pointed out many times, nobody has to do it. He chose not to show it, and many many other potential owners out there could do exactly the same thing. That is all there is too it. The wrong bloke, a terrible terrible owner, all I have done is stuck to my guns, which was easy because I knew that I was right. People wanting to spend as little as possible as soon as they get their foot in the door don't sanction the spending money Big Sam was given pretty much straight away. You fail to see the flaws in you argument and go on claiming that you were always right. What I'm trying to say Leazes is that you're basically a tosser. net spend 6.6m hardly setting the world on fire
  14. Makes fuck all sense. If he doesnt want to go he has a contract which has to be upheld. Did the cousin say anything about his agent "insisting" on him listening to Liverpool's offer? what would you do?
  15. You're giving him waaaay too much credit! or your not giving him enough, nothing to the benefit of nufc but, transfer profit, wage reduction, and worst case scenario , outstanding debt which repotedly has grown under him
  16. whereas "we never expected him to leave and at the end of the day,we couldnt turn down that amount of money, we are shocked with the transfer request that and tried our best from then on ,we looked for replacements to ensure progression in the premier league but have so far been thwarted
  17. hasnt mike almost made his money back??? 8m enrique and 10 m tiote? job done , the rest is easy, sale 120m if prem status is saved, with 80 m debt, ashley clever business man rotten cunt!
  18. It may be a view to the future though, every palyer is worth x amount of money (tiote, enrique) at what point do you try to step up and how with little investment?
  19. and carrolls ex girlfriends allegedly
  20. If the owner of your club says do one we dont want you and in the process you make 35m for your club and double your wages wheres the morale high ground? good luck andy , for the first time in my life I believe arry redknapp
