  1. Anyone recommend taxi numbers in the city center area...Don't fancy paying the black hack prices.
  2. Hello there, Must say the traveling support did you'd proud and say most of the game except when we scored our two goals and also spoke to a few after the game walking to our bus the only bad thing I can say is some of the chavs are little arseholes but that is a minority. If I get any pictures of the game I shall post them here. I hope you enjoyed your trip and hope to see you's again soon. GOALS - http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/6495598/

  5. Hi there, I'm coming down to Newcastle on the 8th till the 12th and I was wondering what there is to do in Newcastle except the pubs and clubs? I quite fancy the stadium tour but what else is there? Also how can I get from roughly the Monument area to that shopping center not eldon square but I think I need to get a bus or metro think its the metro centre the massive one with loads of quadrants? Thanks in advance any advice is welcome and appreciated.
  6. I actually dont expect a good attendance from us tomorrow sadly. You have sold 31,000 so far, on top of that we have sold the 4,000 we were given you should have given us the whole Broomloan to be honest, we'd have filled them no bother as it is I know plenty who are going in your end. Not as bad as I thought but still thats 15-20k empty. Yous had smaller gates against Man City, Spurs and Everton though in recent friendlies, there'll be a walk up to, maybe 40000 which is a good effort. Like I say madness not give us 8-10000 tickets imo unless the local plod wouldn't allow it. It will have something to do with people having season tickets in those areas.

  10. A wee bump as the game is on Saturday. I hope you all have a good trip and good luck for the match hopefully catch a pint with some geordies pre match.
  11. Been in there a few times, handy to the underground station. Avoid the Louden Tavern like the plague. Bump.
  12. Have you tried Newcastle to Edinburgh? Could be cheaper? £33 saving. I doff my cap at thee sir. Not a problem mate. Just make sure you book a seat on the train from Edinburgh to Glasgow. The trains are either completely empty or full to the rafters! Bumpity bump for the people who havent been through it.

  15. The sectarianism in Scotland is I have to agree pretty bad I cant hide that. There is many a songs both we and Celtic sing that should not be sung. Although, Over the years it has certainly improved. If any of you want to know anything regarding stuff like if it interests you ask away and ill try help, not something worth being interested in though. We just try and find more ways of hating each other.
  16. Is it true that the nicest place to go out in Glasgow is, in fact, Edingburgh? Luckily enough I'm not from Glasgow so yes Also you spell it like Edinburgh
  17. I have to agree, Cracking bar. What curry house do you recommend for after the game, just in case I make it. I'm not really sure about the curry houses or the eating places in general but the chippie s are pretty good.
  18. Sorry about that but as I'm sure if we came down to Newcastle to play you's I highly doubt you'd recommend we give our money to the mackems? No, but that's simply because the place is a shit hole. And because it's a different city. Which'd be canny shit advice in the circumstances. Location aside, would you recommend a mackem pub to the a away support traveling down to play you?

  20. The Horseshoe or Auctioneers are both in the City Center if your looking more local to the ground head down Paisley Road West to either The District Bar or The Grapes. The only pub I advise you to steer clear from is The Stadium Bar this pub is opposite the Ibrox underground the reason I ask you to steer clear of here is because its a Celtic slophouse which is sadly full of bears on matchdays due to its location being so good .
  21. Seems a bit shitty that hes got to walk in like Meant to say the M 8 but it changed to mate
