Jota and his club must be just rumors. In Spain we have also had them. But Jota played yesterday, so he continues to belong to his club.
P.S. Anyway, this guy seems to be very badly advised. In 2018 he was considered the great project of the Benfica quarry above Joao Felix, but since he refused to renew his contract (because Benfica wanted to put a termination clause of 120M), Benfica decided to continue leaving him out of the team and promote Joao Felix (who did sign an identical contract).

This boy has grown up in the neighborhood next to mine. When he's on vacation, he's always here and he goes to a public gym in the area and goes out partying in the areas where I used to go when I was 18 years old.
I am amazed at how he tries to put on an Argentine accent to win over the fans there, because he is more from Madrid than cocido (typical food from Madrid).

I just watched the second episode. I liked it a lot.
How do they explain things like the UEFA FFP, how the remaining 19 clubs tried to turn against us with the sponsor of the shirt...
They say at the meeting that up to 100 companies offered to be our sponsor.
And how do they explain that this is not a spending machine, just like that.
PS: I think that, to shut the mouths of all those who don't know what the history of Newcastle has been, it would have been very good to explain what the club has been in history. Until the arrival of Ashley Top 4 in the history of the Premier League (And top 15 as one of the richest teams in the world for what it generated) and Top 5 in English football since the League was invented in the 19th century by results.Newcastle is not nouveau riche. It was a powerful one that Ashley had asleep.
PS2: There is one thing I have not understood. They say in one of the meetings that PRemier League prohibited team sponsors from companies that are related to club properties and that 19 Premier League teams signed it, but the reality is that Sela is owned by PIF as well.

Atletico Madrid was born from Athletic Club Bilbao as a sucursal in Madrid.
We played with the Blue and White Blackburn Rovers Uniforms and in 1909 we changed and wore red and white Southampton uniforms.
Blackburn and Southampton. Like Shearer. xD
The official studies of the teams say that Atlético wears red and white because they once bought Southampton kits.
But a group of Spanish (Basque) historians in Sunderland did some research and they say it's because of the Sunderland and not the Soton. But this is not confirmed.

With a little difference. I started to support Newcastle in 2005, when I was 13 years old. I do not know why. I will never know. I was just excited by the images I saw of St. James Park when the games started or when the team scored a goal. I suffered a lot that relegation year, but I still think I didn't have a Geordie soul at all.
I went crazy the year in Championship trying to find streaming links from Spain.
I think that by 2009 or 2010 I was already completely fascinated by the club, but not in love.
It's been a long time since I've felt chills every time the team plays or I look at the calendar in case we play a game the day my friends propose another plan. And in 2019, when I was finally able to go to the stadium and I burst into tears when the players took to the field, I knew that I was truly in love and that you can love two clubs at the same time.
The big difference is that with Atlético I feel the same thing but somewhat more acute and since I can remember, at 4-5 years old. That every day I enter the stadium, I cry. That every time I see an emotional video, I cry. For me, Newcastle is football. Atlético is much more. It's all my family. It is the memories of my grandfather, who passed away when I was 6 years old and was one of the first members in the club's history. It's sitting down to watch the game with my father and feeling an incredible bond.
I only hope that Atlético and Newcastle never, ever cross paths. Because my love for Atleti is unmatched, but Newcastle for me is not just sympathy. Is much more.
PS: Sometimes I also watch Newcastle games with my father. He unconsciously already celebrates our goals, claims fouls in our favor and gets angry with the referee when he steals from us. He doesn't know it, but he's also from Newcastle.

I just watched the first episode. I can only say that I almost (well, almost) cried when Longstaff appears scoring the double against Soton and talking about childhood dreams.

This reminds me of what happened at the 2006 Basketball World Cup in Japan.
Spain reached its first final of its life against Greece (which had eliminated the USA from Lebron, Carmelo, Bosh, Wade, Paul, Howard, Joe Johnson...
The night before the final, the father of the Spain coach died. Nobody knew. Only him. He did not tell the players or anyone on the coaching staff (only his assistant).
Spain swept Greece in the final and everyone realized that the coach seemed to be in another world. Then the news broke.

I know it's random chance but that is honestly fucked up.
It's even sadder that she scored the goal... And she dedicated it to the mother of a friend who had passed away a couple of days ago... Not knowing that her father had died hours before.
In other words, being able to dedicate the goal of her life to her father, she did it for the mother of a friend.

I think Manchester United's doubts are evident because, although the court has decided that Greenwood is not guilty, we have all seen the video of the bloody bride asking for help and we have all seen the videos and audios where the conversation tells us that he is abusing clearly from her.
I have not followed the case, and I do not know if she has simply withdrawn the complaint, if they have reached an agreement or what.
But the evidence we've all seen will put Greenwood on trial in every stadium he steps foot in.

It is very easy to get caught in a bet like this. Much more in a professional football so watched and so measured.
I remember years ago, a boy from my neighborhood who played in the First Division of Futsal in Italy. His team was leading and played against the bottom of the League, which had already been relegated.
The bets were 20 to 1 for my friend's team... And the boy told some people in the neighborhood to bet, because they had rigged the game to lose.
The news spread around the neighborhood and even the dumbest could take €20 and bet.
They finally lost that match.... But it turns out that the bookmakers found it very strange that in a futsal match where you almost never bet suddenly there would be hundreds of bets... And on top of that with such an improbable result.
They challenged and no one charged anything.
Fortunately I stayed out of it.

From all I've watched and read about Endo, I've no doubt he's a decent player. Unfortunately for them Chelsea fucked everybody by paying >£100m for Enzo Fernandez (at the time thought to be a defensive mid), which meant Rice and Caicedo weren't going for less than that. Liverpool were convinced to pay £100m for Caicedo, but there just aren't a lot of genuinely top tier DMs around that you could convince me are 'worth' £100m, even in this market.
Mind you, we signed Tonali, Barnes, Livramento and Hall for a few million less than they paid for Caicedo and Lavia, so clearly Chelsea don't know what the fuck they're doing.
I agree on everything. And I still think that Liverpool can try to bring in another more defensive midfielder. Amrabat? I don't know if there are many more on the market.
Also that they will surely try to bet everything on the next great Midfielder project that comes out of the Premier or is English. It is the team that most needed an all-terrain midfielder and this summer Caicedo, Lavia, Bellingham or Rice have escaped.

Endo seems like a great player to me. I have always liked him. But I'm not sure that his football and pace is ideal for the Premier League and seeing that he's not just a defensive midfielder, I don't know if he'll only be able to sustain what Klopp wants by playing with players in the midfield like Gakpo, Mac Allister or Szobozslai. with zero defensive intentions.
Yes indeed. The 16M price of him seems like a bargain to me. As a squad player he seems great to me. But I don't know if he's exactly the savior they need or if they're not going to burn him too soon.
PS: In a few months my book on Japanese soccer stories will be out. So I hope Endo will play well at the beginning and give me a good publicity.

It seems to me a very good advance, although I think they should give options for older people who do not know how to use their mobile phones or people who do not accept paying online. (I don't know if there are. They didn't give them to me).
It was the first time I had entered a restaurant that worked like this. In Spain they did not exist (now I suppose there will be one). It was 4 years ago.
After looking at the menu of dishes with my cousin for a while, he discovered the Wetherspoon logo at the bottom of the menu and out of curiosity, he Googled the name of the Wetherspoon app.
If he didn't get to do that, he was still sitting there waiting for my burger.
PS I was surprised that once we placed the order, the food arrived in less than 2 minutes.
PS2: I'm remembering that I paid and my cousin still owes me half hahaha.
