Joking aside, there are about 12-13 teams worse than us looking at the names on the sheet - so surely something is not right.
And it aint injuries alone, because 2-3 first teamers out are standard procedure for most teams.

That's not what I asked. However, obviously people can criticise the manager (where did I say people couldn't?).
You didnt, but by that reasoning we should be grateful to have pardew since noone else wants to come here on what would no doubt be peanuts offered. Fair enough if thats your view.
Im not disagreeing with what you said btw, theres alot in it - but I think we might still be able to attract some fairly good managers - albeit obviously not in the mourinho division.

You obviously hope he has. I was ill last weekend so missed the match but from what I gather the team looked very committed. We lost against the champions ffs following a comfortable win against Wigan.

Simpson on the right for half a year can do some proper damage though. From a fans point of view its frightening.

Some of us are just calling it as we see it, with pardew at the wheel we are going down.
Teams are coming to St. James park now expecting 3 points and that is a very hard thing to turn around, not helped
by the fact that players are now openly critizising Pardew. Has he lost the dressing room, finally?

As HF points out, I was asking you that, more or less, so I'll ask again as the answer which you said was forthcoming seems not to have appeared: are you suggesting the salary on offer and the working transfer budget constraints wouldn't have an effect on the type of candidate we could attract to take over as manager?
Let me just start by saying if we dont, then its a mute point to engage in ANY debate ever again concerning the manager because surely anyone they would replace him with would be infinately worse.
For me its come to a point where I`d replace him with any of the other managers in the division save for perhaps Artie Marty.
So from that point of view - yeah finding a better manager should be doable.

I THINK we would - definately - like to get one player in, and not lose anybody.
Of cource we might lose one player. Or two.

Been on and off for marseille. That will most likely turn into full OFF-mode upon arriving at Pardews Newcastle.

The last couple of games have instilled a bit of hope but we still lost them. A team that cant defend and doesnt create chances has a chance of getting the relegation dogfight.
Cabaye coming back fit and with his head on it is going to be huge.
He has been dogshit up until his injury, but yeah I guess he would be an upgrade from what we have available atm.
Personally I think Cabaye will leave in the january window. And you can quote me on that ( McFaul style)

The problem is by the time hatem is back, we might well sit on our back on 3 more conseq defeats by which the morale damage would already be done.
A case of too little too late me thinks.
Good chance of going into the new year with 19-23 points at best. At worst..well. Thats really worrying.

I wish the government in the US the best of luck convincing conservative americans that they have to take away their firearms, for their own good. The firearms they incidentally constitutionally have the right to carry spesifically to protect them against the government, the ones trying to take them away from them.
