Are you for real?
you reckon that fat bunging fraud could have got us to the semis?
The way the tournament panned out? And beyond.

Although most people won't see it while Rafa's in charge of lowly Newcastle, I think he's proven in the last couple of seasons that he's still world-class.
No one's going to argue with him being a better manager than Southgate. Doesn't mean he's not worthy of investing some faith in.
He's enhanced his reputation since Real Madrid in my eyes. My thoughts are that the FA should look beyond this guy. Wenger maybe?

I don't believe in Southgate as a manager but this run has ensured him for a while, so in a weird way any progression has been harmed. I honestly think they could have won this under Allardyce.

Can't disagree with a lot of what Ginger Quiff has said. This will be the highest point of Southgate and, weirdly, it should have been higher.
I was watching it thinking we'd win it if Rafa was in charge.

I don't think Pope looks that great tbh. My brother in law is from Burnley and he doesn't think he's a patch on Heaton. He's undoubtedly done well this season but I think he's been helped by the way Burnley are set up. They allow quite a few shots but not from area's where their keeper has to make really good saves. So he just makes a high number of saves you would really expect to see a decent keeper make.
Butland looks far and away the best of the bunch for me.
I always trust the keeper with the biggest wanger. One day a crucial save will be made by a wanger.
And a pump.

Since Rafa the team plays better with this cunt not in the team. It's obvious to anyone who watches us with interest. I don't understand the debate.

He's like David Nugent. Prolific in the Championship but can not translate it to the premier league.
This era's David Kelly and everyone knew it. If only our owner wasn't a complete cunt.

What the fuck is coming out of Gayle's head? It's like he rubbed chow mein into his scalp, then a bat shit on it and stimulated growth.

I think he loves it here and it'd take a massive howk to the clems for him to want to leave. Even under this cunt you have to think he'd get the telly money to spend, which he'd take and is just trying to ensure.

His stock has never been so high. Hopefully the Serbian Billy Shitehurst gets this lot up automatically and their hearts rule their heads.

I thought slim started well but then faded. Think it's clear he can't play with Perez
Who can? Far too often Perez chooses the wrong option or fucks the right one up. He should have easily slid Slimani in first half. He's a trier but needs upgrading.

Jury still out on Slimani
I like him, me. He looks like a good Mitrovic. Be interested to see what happens when a chance falls his way, but in the main he looks a good upgrade on the Serbian Billy Shitehurst.

What the fuck is a "proper football club" like? One that's old and a bit shit and not Newcastle?

What a header to set up the second goal.
Looks a player, Slimani. Some of his touches were excellent and beyond the capability of Gayle.

He's the best manager we've had since Keegan and I hope we can see what he can do given the money to add quality.
I subscribe to the school of thinking that we know what we're talking about as well, as a collective. The mackems, even still now, probably don't understand our optimism after 'winning relegation'.

Ever since a ginger slag from Consett failed to bring me off I knew these cunts weren't worth my time.
Everything Tom said plus I remember an ad on Radio Newcastle advertising season tickets for the Premya Leeyuge just over a year ago. The irony being that we were a division lower and not having to advertise anywhere seemingly lost on them.

I'm probably turning into one of the cynical old cunts I swore I never would 20 years ago, but I think he's full of shit, me. He's soft as shite as well, proper fairy.

Is that the same Michael Gray who, rumour has it, rocked up in a Ferrari when they'd laid off a shitload of staff after a relegation in the 90s?

I once watched with considerable pleasure 3 Leeds fans get kicked to fuck by a bloke on Corporation Street. Was after we beat them 3-1 and went top of the league under Bobby, they were walking up the middle of the road asking if anyone fancied their go and this one chap leapt over the railing and leathered the 3 of them. All that was missing was some Batman style punch thingies with each meaty connection. Not sure what they'd have said, perhaps 'Emmerdale!!!' or 'Savile!!!'.

This cunt was urging Rafa, a man far more distinguished in his profession than he'll ever be, to stay on and build for the future a few weeks ago. I hope Pardew fucks his bird.

Basically what most other people are saying is that the one thing that gives us a chance is the new manager. The difference in opinion is whether, on balance, you think survival is more likely than relegation. It's not 'defeatist' to argue relegation is more likely at present because it clearly is. We all hope Benitez can get more out of the players and I think he probably can. It still might not be enough though. It's barely even an argument. Given that, at the very best, 4th bottom is probably as well as we can do then it's hardly being a miserable cunt thinking we might not get out of this.
I agree that the new manager is what can keep us up, as a continuation of what was going on before him would've no doubt sent us down. I just think the negativity is disproportionate to our predicament now and comments like "I think we're already gone. We needed to win last week" are defeatist and absolutely not what's needed. We can definitely stay up and, if we do manage it, it'll not have been from some sort of mission impossible type scenario. At least not yet - there's 8 games we should be looking at as winnable.
-
Aye - the cunts haven't bothered their arses for most of the season and yet we're only 1 point behind the mackems and 3 behind Norwich having played a game less. With the right attitude and application we can definitely stop up and under Rafa you'd expect it to be there.
-
We've been shocking most the season with players who couldn't give a fuck and yet there's hardly owt in it between us, Norwich and the mackems. We've 8 games left that we're capable of winning under a manager that you'd expect the players to put the effort in for. Realistically we have every chance of getting out of it. I'd honestly rather be in our position than Norwich and the mackems, but not if every cunt is beaten before a ball is kicked.
