  1. That means Man U can still get 3rd so will have something to at for against Hull? Clutching at straws

Man Utd don't give a shit man. They may win despite playing kids but Hull are certainly capable of winning that game.

With respect of Newcastle, I think we'll be a goal down inside of 20 minutes. At least.

Sorry like, but as we approach nearly a decade of Ashley ownership and stare at the prospect of a second relegation under the fat twat, I am jealous as fuck of this lot.

After just 10 years and still with crowds of just 2k, these fuckers now have a fan owned and community focussed football club which is just two promotions away from the Football League, and they're just about to open their own fully owned Football League standard stadium.

All it took for them to get off their arses was rising ticket prices and being told to sit down, which is nothing compared to the shit that fans of our club have meekly accepted as the price to pay to watch infinitely worse football and win nothing.

Whatever the fuck it is NUST or AO.com or any of the other current protest groups think they're achieving, they need to stop immediately, and do whatever it is this lot did to get this club off the ground. I for one would switch allegiance to FCUN in a heartbeat, and be the first on the season ticket waiting list.

Look, I'm drunk so I'm gonna take this seriously.

I'd probably support this if it ever came to it, but can't we just perform some kind of hostile takeover of Gateshead? It'd save us a few years since they're established already.

If you're serious though - yeah it might work, and if the club was successful then it'd undoubtedly become more appealing to the fanbase. But should we really just let Ashley steal our club...

  3.

Carver looks like he's having one of those farts that suddenly turns into a ring-stinger.

I'm not buying that's really Williamson though, looks far too dynamic.

That's actually a video, Williamson is moving in real time there.

  4. Any popcorn going cheap ?

Mate, come on - you're better than this. That you've stayed away all season and are only now showing yourselves speaks volumes.

As has been said, a fair sized contingent of us are seeking relegation - myself included. I'm not worried about how that looks compared to Sunderland, because, very honestly, it's not worth comparing us to you. You're a hopeless club that is managed quite well but just can't rise above the innate shitness that seems to attach itself to you. We're a real club with legitimate prospects, that is being internally destroyed. If not for the fact that you've posted on here, I wouldn't even give a shit about what is happening with your club. Sunderland ranks alongside West Brom for me, in terms of how much it matters. Except not as good.

I wish you well next year. You'll go down of course, but all the best with that.

  5. I keep reading that Carver has been guaranteed a coaching roll, whoever is manager next season. So if Carver is not going to be manager next season, the new head coach will not even have a say in who he wants on the coaching staff.

If we did go down we will need someone who knows his way around the Championship.Mick McCarthy could be a decent choice .

    Are you...are you serious?

  6.

Or will it result in a points deduction, meaning that having saved ourselves (or more likely ManU having saved us), we get relegated anyway :shades:

Which would cost him even more in the long run, and I would still support

Yes, even with us going down. I'm on board with that.

  7.

I'm not sure what this staying back business is likely to achieve in fairness, but it's better than doing nothing. I do think a pitch invastion, which will result in a financial penalty to Ashley/the club, should be considered.

  8.

yes, but normally people wouldn't be subjected to reading one of your persuasive analyses.

apologies for the petty cuntishness, but you're going to need to grow some thick skin if you're going to last the course on here. sort of explains why there are so few of us.

This should be our forum motto or something

  9. I agree with Fish on this, mind. Man Utd are certainly more likely to win than Hull. It's not a glorious end to our season though, and I still think I'd prefer it if we went down.

Although if Sunderland suddenly got pulled down instead of us or Hull, I'd take that every time. We can always get relegated next year if it comes to it.

  10.

    I predict we'll lose 5-0

I think it'll be more like 3-0, but I agree with the sentiment there. Try to have a little optimism though...

Lets hope Van Gaals kids are better than Hull's seasoned and desperate team.

  11. It's lovely after months of whining now seeing all these Labour politicians apologising for spending too much, abandoning "wrong policies" like the mansion tax and having to admit that the ONLY hope they have of getting back in is to be more like the Conservatives.

Only because the wider public are too stupid to understand what happened. How is mass stupidity any sort of basis for policy?
