I reckon Coloccini, Santon, Simpson and Obertan will leave. Taylor will stay and be our RB backup. We will need another quality CB to replace Colo, a natural left footed LB to replace Santon and a young prospect out wide to replace Obertan. On top of that we need two strikers...one ready made to challenge and support Cisse and a younger prospect to push the team along with Campbell. Aside of like for like replacements we only need 2 or 3 major signings.

Looked a little worried in the post match interview. He's under a bit of pressure now. Even more so now that O'Niell has got the sack. We are right down there in a relegation battle. I think most suspected we could get a hiding today, they are a great side but we werent "at it" today. Similar first half perfomances have also cost us a fair few times this season. For some reason, quite often, we dont seem to start on the front foot in games. Fulham at home is a big game, a crucial 3 points. Then the mackems, a win there to help them back on there way to the championship would be massive. Time to get your training and tactics sharp Pardew, equally we need to see more from our key "purple" players. A nice performance from a stronger side at Benfica would lift the spirits. That shows the injury problems we have. Weak bench. Hopefully means we can see a few back against Benfica on Thursday then. Definitely an attacking if also experimental starting 11 just not much in the way of options off the bench in the second half. It is loyalty. We could call on him whenever. I however think it's a lack of ambition though. I mean he's not hit any heights has he? Sat on the bench almost his entire career here. Thankful for it though.
