  1. Estonia up 2-1 against the Dutch with 15 minutes to go....
  2. Miro just equalled Gerd Müller's goalscoring record for Germany. Finally got the monkey off his back
  3. I'd take Villa's easily, would just about kill to have it at Newcastle! Some really exciting young strikers in there. Benteke, Agbonlahor as the main strikers, Weimann and Helenius off the bench, could even use Weimann and his pace on the wing if needed (Think Villa do that sometimes as well). Not really sure on the other 3 though. It's a solid combination of pace, strength and skill.
  4. There are glaring holes in the squad that SHOULD of been addressed in the Summer, but weren't. Our starting XI itself is solid enough, but we have shocking depth, a couple of injuries to say Coloccini and Cisse, then we're really up shit creek so to speak. Yes it can be good for the team to not have a massive amounts of in's and out's so they are settled, but you don't ignore glaring holes in the squad to facilitate that. Just because Liverpool have bought some utter shit over the years shouldn't mean we should ignore holes in the squad because we're scared of unsettling a couple of players, or that they might be useless. Then again if we actually spent money, we'd probably of only needed to add 3 or 4 players or so to have a successful window and really solidify the squad, rather then bringing in say 14 new signings a la the mackems. Of course in reality, it's just Ashley not wanting to spend any money rather then anything else.
  5. Hahah Kinnear seems to have a different measurement of time compared to the rest of us. Think he said the same about his tenure at Forest as well
  6. 15th. Kinnear to take over in February, proceeds to win 4 games rest of season, proclaims he's done an even better job in his 2nd manager stint then his 1st. Which of course with 5 wins in 28 or however many games it was, was fucking great wasn't it Joe?
  7. Agree with that, probably have some extra motivation after the whole Arsenal fiasco as well. Can't wait to see him back into the starting XI, makes us a much better team with him there.
