No I'm not. He's saying he fears it's the beginning of the end for Howe. I assume that's not just based on today's game result or performance, because if it is, that is even more embarrassing. The mackems were always favourites to win today in my mind, for the obvious reasons stated.

 Shut up, you tit. I’m literally saying, in the post, that we’ve been shite for ages and we have, man. Even as early as the back end of last season, our away form fell off a cliff. Eddie Howe is fantastic but sometimes, things get away from managers and I have a horrible feeling it’s starting to happen here. Everything above him has been a shitshow but he wouldn’t be the first manager to get a bullet to deflect blame from a shit executive structure. If Eddie Howe can simply not crack how to play multiple games in a week, he will not last as Newcastle United manager. A club that wants to be in Europe every season

  2. I hate to say it and it may just be the immediate annoyance of it all but I really fear that this is the beginning of the end for Eddie here. We look pretty abject a lot of the time, we’re making the same mistakes every week, Elanga and Ramsey have, up to now, been a complete fucking waste of 90 million quid. The one thing we were good at was the physical side of it all but we were completely outfought today. I’ll probably feel differently in the morning but I’m not seeing a lot of answers to our problems at this current time

Tbf to the lunatic I read this thinking there was no fucking way neither player had avoided a PL red card for us, and even remember them getting them - turns out he's right, and neither have been sent off in the prem for us. Joelinton has zero red cards in a toon shirt

Howe is obviously better at subbing booked players off than I recall.

It’s why everyone else hates Joelinton. He nearly snapped Harvey Elliott’s neck in the final

I have become a bit more sympathetic on Ramsdale for the second because he clearly thought the defenders would get it/was unsighted by them. Maybe I'm too generous.

I think the more we see of Ramsdale, the more people will realise Pope is a good keeper, albeit one that needed time out of the side due to mistakes. Just look at the difference in how they deal with corners for a start

He was playing Osula when he was fit wasn't he? After his first performances where he got a couple of goals.

Played away to Leeds but that was it. Woltemade in from then and it was even Gordon through the middle for Barca. He had a few useful cameos where he managed to do 90 minutes of sprinting in 10 minutes but I’m not sure he really rates him that massively. You’ve got to imagine that Osula himself doesn’t really want to make 10 minute cameos all season when he’s on the fringes of the Denmark squad in a WC year too.

He'd be mad to tbh. A reckless challenge at Anfield to try and strategically rest up for the derby could well be a straight red with the bent sideways officiating of Liverpool games.

He’ll just kick the ball away on 65 minutes and they’ll sub him straight off
