  1. What are the odds of that happening? Toney would know
  2. “….the less relevant we become…” And that sums it up - they’re totally fucking irrelevant yet somehow think they’re indispensable to the PL. They don’t understand they became irrelevant to the PL the moment they were relegated. Where does this sense of entitlement come from? Non-existent in Europe, they were bottom half fodder endlessly circling the drain during their time in the PL. Nobody misses them, nobody cares, they might be a cup final in L2 but in the PL they’re nobodies. What makes them so special? The bang average flatpack stadium built on landfill with a wannabe name stolen from a famous club? The bitter and ungrateful fans that hound out manager after manager? The free tickets they dole out to try to fill up the place? The made up nickname chosen via a poll? The track record of abject failure and mediocrity? No, what makes them special (the ones who post this shit on RTG) is weapons grade delusion coupled with an astounding level of stupidity, and possibly a glue habit…
  3. Looked like he was coming for your kids. Err RIP, obviously
  4. I’m not sure what Frank does tbh….probably just asks his Dad what to do (who probably asks ‘Arry)
  5. He was the complete package. A quartquartista.
  6. I’d be delighted if Chelsea appointed Lampard as their temporary manager. They’re giving a masterclass this season in how not to run a successful football club.
  7. There’s a part of my brain that looks at this and says “I think we’re definitely safe now”. I think I’m having trouble adjusting to the post Ashley/Bruce reality
  8. What a plum The Hunter is. He thinks the club wheels out new signings to slag off SAFC, so that they can’t sign for them, ever. Why would the club or player give a toss about them, or even be thinking about them? How weirdly delusional. They’re so desperate to be relevant to us, it’s pathetic
  9. Yea Eddie Howe deserves some praise but let’s remember it’s mainly Steve Bruce’s team. Who knows what we could have achieved if Steve was still the manager? I’ll see myself out
  10. No doubt they’ll support him. “He rapes who he wants….”
  11. Is snus a typo? A and S are next to each other on the keyboard after all. Okay okay, I’ve reported myself
  12. Thanks Andrew. I think the BBC article implied the disclosures to the PL were at odds with the statement made in the LIV court case. If the statements are consistent and the facts were known by the PL as you say it sounds like there’s no basis for the PL to resile (even if that’s possible). I’m sure they won’t want to take on PIF anyway.
  13. I suppose the question is whether the PL will be pressured to withdraw their approval in the light of this new information, which was presented in a US court as evidence. I hope not. I suspect it may be very hard for the PL to take back approval once given. I doubt other PL clubs are under continuous review and their rules may not even cater for it.
  14. The sky’s the limit when your head is empty and bag is full of glue
  15. It sounds like “KLD” and the other clowns don’t have enough money to get the bogs cleaned on a regular basis. And yet they’re going to expand the stadium
  16. Where has this stadium nonsense come from? On what planet would you expand your stadium (which you can’t fill now even with cheap seats) in the vague and unfounded hope of better times ahead? When all the evidence tells you the new seats wont sell and the team isn’t good enough to make the second division play-offs? Wouldn’t you just spend any spare cash on better players? Is this just because we’re talking about expanding SJP. Or has someone been at the glue again during Field of Dreams?
  17. Conte looks like an extra from All Quiet on the Western Front there
  18. Doesn’t his goal record tend to contradict the assessment of him as a slightly above average PL striker? Regular goal scorers command sky high fees and salaries because it’s not that easy to stick the ball in the net for club and country, regardless of who you play for. I realise you’re saying he’s built his career on bullying inferior sides. And I freely admit that I havent seen him play much for Spurs and I dont tend to watch England games. However there does seem to be a consensus that he’s one of the country’s leading forwards. Is that just media hype?
