I wish him all the best. The club may have outgrown him now but he was invaluable under Ashley, and for that I'm grateful.

Can see him with a pot belly upsetting them in a few months' time, such is the faith I have in the work we do out of the public eye with recruitment. He's affordable and we just aren't interested. How's Digne doing there?
Imo there's no way he'd have gone there if we or another CL club were in for him. The noise was probably just put out there to get Villa to commit.

Getting blamed for shite that’s fuck all to do with us now. It’s cute that Villa fans think they would register in the PiF’s thoughts though. The fact that Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool have been given large FFP boosts from these Saudi clubs completely undoes this weird conspiracy theory angle.
He's right though, it doesn't seem like a problem at all

First game kicks off in Auckland in a few hours and the whole place went into lock down because some mad cunt took his shotgun out and started shooting people.
Three dead including the gunman. FFS the world atm.
I'm going to three games, two France games and Germany v Colombia, hopefully they are decent.
Not sure the Matlida's PR stunt on equal prize money was the right thing to do because obviously the sponsorship of the WWC isn't at the level of the men's, especially when they protested the Saudi money out of the competition. They probably should worry about doing more on the pitch first.
Bookies have USA as favourites, not so sure about that. Canadian team (33-1) has to be the dark horse seeing they won the last Olympics.
The shooting thing was horrible, but the bloke sounded completely mad. Seems to have been a completely random event, I doubt he even knew the world cup was on (tbf neither did I lol)

The thing that strikes me is that some of the players aren't in their twilight years. So it's all about the money really, I can't think of any footballing reason to go there.
Personally I'd rather see out my career in the US than KSA. Although you stand a higher chance of being shot or unlawfully detained in the US, especially as a person of colour.

All we need now is for Henderson’s butchers in sunderland to start selling halal meat and they’ll go supernova.
Ready to Groom seems to think this place is connected to him, but his dad was a copper ( different kind of pork), and the owners of it are called McGill.
Usual standards of reality on RTG in action
I expect they heard it from a local historian

This Saudi club is also owned by PIF. No way we're giving essentially ourselves a shite deal, that's not even market value for him were we to sell him to a European team. It might end up being less than 40m, but they'll likely hand us 30m+ cash with no instalments.
Edit. On a side note, if ASM does decide to go to Saudi at his age then that tells you exactly what you need to know about his mentality, and whether he's up for the next step of our journey as a club. Of course given he'll also be helping us tremendously, as it seems we need the cash for other signings, it might be a bit harsh to say that, and it's not like I could tell you for definite that I wouldn't take the money myself, but largely only players with elite mentalities win elite competitions.
They might loan him back to us

Heard her say for bedroom matters he is a bit like ASM on the pitch, lots of promise in the build-up but in the final third there is no end product 😜
He dribbles but doesn't finish?

It's when they state as fact that only Newcastle fans wear club shirts on holiday, or around town. Only Newcastle fans make a tit of themselves on public transport. Only Newcastle fans sing songs about their rivals at important matches which aren't against them. Only Newcastle fans etc.
Set aside the fact that Sunderland fans do all the above and more, it's commonplace across the country. Fans in Blackburn shirts in the home end of some random Championship team when Burnley came to play. Chelsea fans being pricks on the Tube. Some Spurs fans singing about Arsenal on their Champions League away days.
The way that lot go on, you'd assume that Newcastle are alone in having that kind of behaviour among their fans.
At least we don't shit on our seats though, that is a distinctly unique mackem trait.
Tbh I don't think most of the window lickers on RTG have been out of their mum's attic, let alone out of Sunderland. So it's natural that they have zero perspective on, well, everything.

I reckon Bruce would be off to Saudi if he was offered a sweet gig. Imagine the Al-Kebabi fans excitement as their new coach hoves into view in a generously proportioned tracksuit - sweating heavily, purple faced and with a knotted white hankie on his head
