1. Definitely, plus there are rumours that Nobby is off home to Peru. 136562 That poses quite a problem imo.

4. That we won't buy any. I think we will sell Boumsong and have Bramble & Taylor as the main 2 with Moore and Ramage as back up. My mojo tells me this will be so. Irie.
5. Better than Milner imo, would buy him if we could do it at the same price we sell Milner for.
6. Do you guys think Arsenal should have a staute of Henry outside their ground?
7. Never been overly impressed with Milner when i've seen him, would be interested to know what value we've put on him though. I'd be midly surprised if Glenn would want him sold without having seen him train with the other NUFC players. Maybe it's not Glenn's decision.....
8. I'd like to see Emre stay and play most of a season so i can judge what he can do for us. That said, it's pointless having a 'playmaker' without anyone to pass to.
9. Opinion based only. Defo's: Elliot, Boumsong, Faye, Bowyer, Butt, Luque, Chopra (did he get a new deal?), Shearer (obviously) Maybe's: Moore, Carr (got a feeling), Dyer (retirement), Milner (i read we'd stated an acceptable amount so we can't be desperate to keep him), Owen (better club) Hope not's: Owen, Given Any others?
10. I really can't answer that, a friend of my dad has just arranged travel plans for F. Lampard and girlfriend. Flying tomorrow after postponement today. This is my one and only tip based on 'insider info' so please be nice to me
11. I would have done too if it hadn't made me laugh ! 132123 I know FFS has ploughed money into the club but don't you think he has handled this badly? 132267 I meant "laugh" as in "smile" mate. At a good descriptive post. I honestly don't know, but I feel quite happy for some reason, probably because we can start another season without the fuckwit we had a year ago and I'm hoping we have a good summer. Away from football. I'm not making judgements as to things that I may speculate the board may or may not have done. All we know is that they asked for dispensation for a man who has done a good job as caretaker and unlike some of the past appointments with good CV's, he at least knows the club. I'm prepared to make allowances for West Ham going down seeing as he had a life threatening illness, preferring to see the potential of finishing 7th instead. I'll back him because he deserves it, and you never know. I'm not happy with keeping the seat warm for Shearer but don't you think if Roeder does well he won't be exactly keeping it warm for anyone other than himself ? 132289 I have very similar sentiments tbh, however i have to agree with Gemmill, it's a lost opportunity to get someone 'world class' in. And by that i mean, better than any of our previous managers.
12. Joey Barton: Replacement for Bowyer
13. I said cheap & realistic! I don't think Gudjohnsen or Bridge will be cheap and Robben is not realistic. Think along the lines of players the top clubs won't want but might come good. 130858 I am being realistic..... As for being cheap - I think we need to put the investment in, not rely on people who may come good... 130865 Do you think we'll have the money?

15. Unforgivable Blackness: Biography of Jack Johnson (boxer not singer).
16. Glen Johnson: Looked good for West Ham and then Chelsea for a shor time until he had a mare against Bolton iirc. With our Glenn Roeder connection we may be able to get him. Needs a lot of development but his attitude must have changed now he realises he can look really crap on national tele Would't pay much for him and he might turn out ok. Carlton Cole: Big, quick, not gonna get a start at Chelsea. If he accepts a role as foil for Michael Owen he might be decent on the assists side of things. Wouldn't rely on him to be a natural goal scorer though. Pennant: Been mentioned in other thread. Just a couple of names, i think we may have to go for cheap gambles as we probably won't have the money to pay for 'sure things.' Johnson and Cole might have the potential to develop into players better than those who currently occupy that position for us, i.e. Carr and Ameobi. I'd rather have Fernando Torres and Clerc but........
17. Come on and bore me doll face.
18. You are fantastically naive. Things can change just as quickly for the mackems as they did for us. The mackems with the right set up would be hot on our tails and a top 6 team with big crowds. Not surprised I have to explain this, those who don't believe we have an ambitious board of directors that choose to operate at the top end of the league rather than the lower, which we did ourselves until we changed and then chose to leave them behind, will no doubt share your views. Shock in store. 130117 Is Sir John Hall an entire board of directors then?

Hmm Andreas Anderson, John Barnes, Ian Rush, Carl Serrant, Garry Brady, Laurent Charvet, Paul Dalglish, George Georgiadis. Quality eh ?? 129148 No, but Given, Hamann, Dabizas, Speed, Solano, Ketsbaia, Griffin, Hughes (brought through by Dalglish) & Pearce weren't exactly the worst buys this club has made. 129166 Only Given, Solano and Speed were worth it in my humble opinion. Hamann was sold for a profit i guess, a very rare event at NUFC.
20. When i see him play he never quite looks good enough to me, i know his stats are meant to be good for Villa but when i see him on T.V. he just doesn't look like he's gonna become a force in the Prem. O'Dreary is out of line and has been for some time with his comments to the press though.

Dalgliesh stripped the club of it's attacking players man, what you gonna balance that out with ? Nobby? 1 player!! Speed was deep midfield, good player though. He bought Given which was great and Hamman was ok (i'm told) for about 6 months. To compare Dalgleish's impact on NUFC with SBR?

Shola

Like Shearer had one of those... Anyway, I think he has a decent left foot. Seems comfortable on it. 129049 Perfect example of Saturday, through on goal on his left side, should have buried it. Wouldn't hit it with his left, checked back on his right, got tackled. Shearer could still use his left foot when he needed to, plus he was clinical. Anyway, believe it or not I'm a Shola sympathiser. Shola Liberation Front. 129051 F**k off!!!!! This is the Liberation Front of Shola

Shola

His anticipation is atrocious, his movement is poor, his first touch is heavy and he can't connect with the ball well. Chopra gets in to good positions but his use of the ball is negligible too.
