Porto were superb tonight. They took the game to Man U, were positive, quick and skilful. One of the best games I've seen all season. They fully desrved the draw. All credit to them, lets hope they can finish the job next week

I think it all boils down to the 3 winnable home games (Pompey, Boro and Fulham) and stoke away. I just can't see us picking up points at Spurs, Liverpool or Villa We need 3 wins and a draw out of those 4 games and it will probably be enough. I think we need to beat Stoke because we will probably drop points at one of those home games.

Went to Bristol Rovers v Stockport on Saturday with 2 other newcastle fans and 2 wolves fans. We are trying to do the 92 grounds so we do this sort of thing 2 or 3 times a season when newcastle aren't playing. Earlier this season we did Shrewsbury v Port Vale (Vale fans were superb) and Lincoln v Barnet We always research some decent pubs before we go, its basically a pub crawl with a game thrown in. We always go in the away end as well, this time with 280 Stockport fans. Identified some good boozers for the Bristol City game next season!

Ashley is determined to recoup every penny, thats we have made a a profit on transfers this season. We may possibly stay up this season but we will be in the same situation nest season and the season after. The best we can hope for is scraping about for enough points to avoid relegation, playing crap football, we will in fact be nowt better than the Boltons of this world, no chance of winning anything and grateful just to stay up. The true test of Shepherd is this: Yes he is a newcastle fan but is he making a personal profit out of the club or does he love the club so much that he makes or takes nothing financially out of the club??? I dont know the answer but I hear off various people that he has made lots of money at our expense? I hope im wrong??

I reckon Lennon is the most exciting English player around at the moment, full of skill and speed and great to watch. I wish he played for the toon!
