Nothing new ... take Paul Robinson for example - who even won international caps - while making a first class tool out of himself. He's a fat, useless chump, but Babayaro is abysmal almost beyond words, yet was at one point Chelsea's longest serving player in their squad at the time.

I take it you're not a big city person? I used to live in Bristol and think it's a great place. It's got bad areas, but is probably the "nicest" of the country's biggest cities. However if you don't live in a nice area there you still may like it for the city centre, nightlife, entertainment etc. Same with Nottingham where my sister has just finished university - seems to love it even though it's got a very bad (and probably exaggerated) reputation. I don't think you'll find many places that are consistently nice in the UK. In my view, a lot of it is about your emotional attatchment to the place. The toon pisses on it. Taking London out of the equation, Edinburgh is the only city which is nicer than Newcastle, but it has more stuck up boring cunts. A shithole no one has mentioned is Leicester, a city of 300,000 where the mainline station is smaller than South Gosforth metro interchange, added to the fact that 61% of the population isnt white, and its one big council estate, renders it for me a fuckin shithole. The whole Midlands is a disgrace to this nation, boring people, ugly women, fat cunts, shithole areas, wank football teams, total shit accents, you have to feel for these people growing up with no identity, it couldve been me or you if we had been born there. That sums up the midlands. Also, 100% of the people I have ever met from the area are utter boring and dense cunts, and I'm sure most will have had similar experiences.

I go to uni in Bristol and with any city it's got some crap areas but generall speaking the only bad thing about the place is the accent. Has some quality areas there. And the fact there are too many students concentrated in the area.
