  1. Cheers, its actually nowhere near as bad as the shite he's come out with after the match to be fair! Apart from the hard to please jibe which is bollocks and the sort of thing trundled out by every hack and nobody in football, you'd think he'd know better.
  2. Just been reading the chronicle and it was going on about fergie being a miserable, one eyed cunt as we all know, talking shite about the match, but it also said he'd slagged off toon fans and the tyneside media in his program notes, anyone know what that was about?
  3. God i hope he's not going, with competent managers like O'Neil and Hughes out there all Bagpusses good work could be undone! Hopefully they'll give him till January and let him piss away some more money before they even think of sacking him, but you wonder that Short won't stand for what Quinn would. Also he was there when their fans were loudly booing and chanting about him being a fat geordie bastard etc maybe he'll react to it quickly.
  4. He (and they) are full of more shite than anyone out there, even if you put aside the fact they have had decades of everything going their way decision wise, to actually claim one decision costs you a league is beyond embarrassing, but again the interviewer fails to grow a pair and explain to him the other 37 games and the whole 90 mins of that game might dictate who wins the title!
  5. Entertaining match, both keepers saved their teams several times from some poor defending though, and Ballitolli is still an idiot who could easilly cost them games when he has one of his moments, even if the challenge wasn't malicious this time.
  6. Harsh that, og like that can happen to anyone he's been really good this season so far Never been impressed when i've seen him personally, not saying he's not a prem defender but not the level of the richest club in the world aiming for the title and CL trophies this season and beyond, they could do alot better.
  7. Spawny goal for Liverpool, not like them to be lucky! And Suarez continues his efforts to be the most annoying little prick in the prem, most of the game he spend either diving, feigning injury or crying like a bairn to the ref or anybody that he hasn't got a decision. And i've no idea why with all the money city have they still think Lescott is good enough, never seen the fuss over him.
  8. They really are a horrible bunch of arrogant pricks by and large whenever you encounter them, no idea why anybody likes them, absolutely no class at all in defeat or victory, whenever things go wrong they blame anyone else and when it goes well they gloat and rub it in over people. And the bitterness over Shearer sums them up perfectly, he dared to turn down the almighty entity that is manu and they still can't take it, good to know that it really narks them as anything that makes them unhappy is fine by me.
  9. I'd guess/hope they've asked all the players involved and they've said they think its right to play as they have good reason not to. Totally agree about princess Di, it was an absolute joke that it was even thought to cancel any sporting events nevermind do it, who the fuck were these players who couldn't play football because a woman who is no relation or connected to them in anyway has died, it was farcical.
  10. Genuinely shocked about this, top man and player who you won't hear a bad word from anyone and so sad if its suicide. RIP
  11. Sums them up perfectly, they have had decade after decade of getting everything from refs and as soon as one goes against them they cry like the spoilt bastards they are. Also one of the saddest things in football is the way their fans still to this day continually do chants about Shearer when we play them. Such is the arrogance of them that the idea a player turned the mighty manu down to play elsewhere means it eats away at them even now. He came here and won fuck all whilst they won countless trophies and yet the sad fuckers still whinge about it because he dared to say no to the theatre of dreams and that bunch of self obsessed wankers. I have to say I agree with Stevie on most things but I just don't get why he doesn't hate those cunts as much as I do. They are laughable. When i went to the semi final at Cardiff under Souness, it was after the match and remember they had twatted us and as i say Shearer had come here and won nowt whilst they had success we can only dream off and i got stuck in amongst most of their fans for a good while and to a man they did fuck all but chant about Shearer, it really gets to them that he said no. If it was me and i wasn't a sad cunt like them lot i'd be singing about going to a final and would be happy, but they were banging on about Shearer and to be honest looked miserable as fuck most of the time.

  13. See what you're saying there, but not looking too much from him till he's started at least 6 or 7 games on the trot. Really happy he is at this club. And the good thing is, in a game where he wasn't at his best he set up the pen out of nowhere, we need that player who in the big games (and indeed the lesser ones) can pull a moment out of the hat and get you a goal.
  14. He is crucial to what we've done this season, because all the tight results you can bet at 1-0 up or level scores he will have made a massive save that your average keeper couldn't pull off and turned the game, he is worth so many points a season and is really young and only going to get better. I'll be gutted the day he is inevitably sold, a top class keeper is essential to any team wanting to achieve anything.
  15. Top class effort all round again to battle away when down to ten men, Krul outstanding, blocks, goal line clearances it was all in there! And a word for the officials, the offside was right, the pen was wrong but the fact is the linesmen and ref and the ball to make big calls to make and made them at Old Trafford against manu and there are very view officials out there who will. So glad Colo made it though, not only do we need his class in there but he makes Taylor so much better as well by allowing Taylor to do the things he does well and with no Tiote its massive that Colo plays. Thought Pardew was pretty decent on the subs as well, Obertan is just back so wouldn't last 90 mins, Perch for all his massive liabilities as a starting defender can come on as a sub in midfield and work hard and Ben Arfa getting a rest when its backs to the walls makes sense too.
  16. Did really like Gary Neville's description of him during the chelsea v liverpool game when he said it looked like a 10 year old kid in the crowd was controlling him on a playstation!! It sums him up perfectly, don't worry about defending, just keep pressing buttons and go charging up the other end for a bit of a laugh!
  17. Has to be worth man marking him now, they're like a basketball team where a Jordan type can take a team of any level and win games themselves. I'm not the biggest fan of man marking by and large as it means you're overly concerned with the opposition and not thinking about your own play, but in this case, either kick him early or man mark him and they're about 50% down at least! I'm a bit reluctant to give Arsenal much credit for their recent form simply because they're ridiculously reliant on a single player. I can't see anyone filling his proverbial boots and doing anything like as much for the team as he does. Superb player in an average team. I always wondered what he'd do with an injury free run at top form as he was always clearly a quality player all round and as it turns out he is also incredibly prolific as well as all that talent, but any game now where he doesn't do the business the rest of them will just be waiting for him to win it and they'll be caught cold.

  19. Lol at chelski and their shite defending!
  20. Manu the club and fans are already getting so bitter about city and shitting it that they'll take over from them, acting like spoilt brats and showing as usual none of the clubs at the top has any class about them whatsoever. As for arsenal they should just change their name to Robin Van Arsenal now as they are so dependent on him its frightening, i forget what the exat total was but the percentage of goals for them that he either scores or sets up is staggering. If he gets a big injury they are in trouble and if Vermeelen joins him they're fucked!
  21. Chelsea better bring this same wank defence to St James next home match, they are looking utter shite at the moment and Luiz is an accident waiting to happen most of the time. I'd back us to score past them at home every time whoever we have in the team.
  22. I'd love a reverse of what happened there last year where the ref was an absolute cunt from start to finish and couldn't have done more to win the game for them if he'd scored himself, but my instinct is we are going to play well, battle away and get a shit decison or two and lose, but lose a close game rather than the hammering people are expecting.
  23. As much as i hate ashley, and as the owner anything that happens is ultimately his responsibility, i have always wondered how things would have been if he hadn't hired the slimiest, most obnoxious little turd in the country as his MD. Would ashley still ultimately have been the same and actually is just as big a cunt as he seems at times or would he have listened to say a David Dein type who knows what they're doing, understands football fans and isn't a cunt?
  24. Always thought he was a canny footballer, hence why Keegan went for him, but in the prem he looked like he needed way too much time on the ball and physically was going to be knocked around by everyone with ease. If whatever Pardew and his coaches have done with Guthrie has sorted him out a bit in terms of strength and physicality and he can maintain it, then i don't think he's bad back up like Dr Gloom said.
  25. Possibly the saddest thread ive seen on there for ages, and by god that takes some doing is this one: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=642869 Asking them what their best ever day as a Sunderland fan is, remember its as a Sunderland fan, and guess how many of them name us going down or us losing the title to manu etc as their best! If i named my 100 best days as a toon fan i can guarentee you one thing, they'd all involve my team! Two absolute perfect summations of the mackems lives here: Sunday 24 May 2009. Newcastle United relegated. Mary "the messiah" Poppins as manager. Nothing. Nothing at all will ever top that day in my lifetime. The celebrations in Sunderland City Centre afterwards were something I've never witnessed before, unreal scenes. On a par with the birth of my son as the best day of my life. Fantastic. for sheer euphoria it would be the final Game against Chelsea when Newcastle went down. what felt like minutes waiting for the Villa Result to come through but was probably only about 1 minute at most then the news filtering through that they were down.....amazing to be a part of....dancing and hugging strangers around you. my abiding memory of that day is Nicolas Anelka was walking to the Chelsea fans when the stadium erupted....he nearly fucking shit himself and the look on his face made my day, bemusement and being completely puzzled. Then singing Wise Men Say at full belt with nearly everyone singing along Sunderland fans and Chelsea fans singing on the way over the Wearmouth bridge......fucking magic. i was in the ticket office on the monday morning asking about my ST.....hooked again
