The CCTV type cameras which are new and have only appeared in the last couple of months are CCTV and DO NOT measure speed. They are to monitor the flow of traffic coming out of the city centre. They could however be linked to the police national computer and dvla and have a look to see who's driving with no road tax as they will be able to record the number plates. Hardly suprising - thats my local kwik save and theres never anyone in. I very occasionally go in to get wine if they have specials on. It just cant compete with the big boys anymore.
