I think Stevie walked past me the other day, funnily enough. I know what he looks like cos he posted pictures of himself on here all the time to show us how good looking he was

Black hair with ridiculous ginger and grey thick beard?  If the answer is aye, that was me.

On a more depressing note, but also related to the TV program which highlights the social media problem at the time, later in that thread you have Stevie expressing sympathy for Moat and calling his gf "an ugly slag" and Parky actually supporting his behaviour, his shooting and maiming woman, who "deserved it", seriously. Oh, as well as him physically abusing his 9 year old daughter.  I'm glad this place filtered out people like that, absolutely sickening comments.

I did nothing but berate him you desperate old fool.

The thread is on here, 'Double Shooting'.

You are the most boring team so far this season , that's not the refs fault. Enjoy the Championship.

I've been on here 13 years, and you are THE most boring cunt I've seen.  Trust me, that is a fucking bold statement.

  4. He should've punched it but there is absolutely no doubt it is a free kick.  If we had the VAR like the Bundesliga and other leagues, it's not 99% it's 100% no goal.  A reasonable display, I have absolutely no fear of relegation, and Longstaff is definitely someone who can play at this level.  The last month or so has been a brilliant start to his first team career, he's so calm on the ball.

Our club is a bigger club than your irrelevant collection of shit manager , supporters who would turn up to watch the grass grow, and a collection of journey men players who no other decent club want.

My very average cock is bigger than Wolves.  You belong in Division Four like 1988.  No cunt no knows you, no one would want to know you, you're no different or bigger than Charlton, Reading, Bristol City or fuckin Oldham.  The Midlands is the biggest most character free shithole in Western Europe, and Wolverhampton is the worst place in that vast area.  You're all ugly cunts too, Barry Taylor had the classic Wolves look.

Useless Mackem, missed chances on a regular basis and was once sent off against us in a fight with big Peter Jackson. Also a Mackem. And useless. Was never going to go well for him, was it?

Useless mackem bastard.  The slowest player we've ever had at this club.  Mind when he was 15 yards clear against the mackems, the day of 75mph wind at SJP, and the mackem defence caught up with him?

  7. Newcastle is genuinely a brilliant city to live in and is without doubt one of the best places in the country with more Grade I listed buildings than anywhere other than London and Bath.  Wolverhampton is worse than Sunderland with even uglier people, I'd be classed as fuckin skinny if I lived there and I'm a fat cunt.  As for Wolverhampton Wanderers my main memory of them is being a Fourth Division club, and some brummie fool falling through the stand at Scarborough.

Rondon, Joselu, Muto and Perez. That's a truly horrific strike force rota and has relegation written all over it unless the Hertfordshire whale let's us get some quality in January. They're carving us open.

People are saying we were pretty shite yesterday and god damn boring.  I'd rather be boring as fuck and win 1-0, than play very well and lose.  We were very good at Old Trafford, great against Tottenham, but at the end of the day we lost.  If we go down we're stuck with Ashley for at least another 2 years, so we really need to keep going this season, we are shite and 17th will definitely do.

It's making me think how different it would have been if it had been Ashley - don't think it would have gone as far as people celebrating but it would have been a push to find grief.

Has he given us any reason to believe he's a good human being.  The stress, arrogance and shit the bastard has caused to hundreds of thousands of Newcastle fans over a decade certainly wouldn't cause traffic jams on the M1 with toon fans going to his funeral.  Keegan would say nothing, but he'd be sat that there with Jean drinking chamomile tea with half a smile on his face for an hour and no words coming out of his mouth.  I'd be the same without the chamomile.

Matthew Harding lost his life the same way while developing Chelsea, but this man took Leicester to a place no one on earth thought they could go.  A bloke who had universal respect for developing a football club from mid-table championship to Champions of England.  A good man who seemed care more about his project than leeching off it for a decade in numerous ways.

I am off to Slayley Hall soon for a couple of nights.  Anyone recommend somewhere to eat near there?  We have a meal at the Hall on one evening but fancied somewhere else the other night.

Before my dad died, and I got my cancer, might be about 2011, I took my parents to a place about 4 miles away from where you are by road on the other side of the Derwent Resevoir.  The Punchbowl Inn it's called in Edmundbyers.  Absolute top quality place, with fantastic food, probably about 150 year old.  Not too expensive neither.

  11. The fool that is Paul Merson thinks we've had the joint third best transfer window in the Premier League.  Annoying cunt down there with the worst of them.

    Newcastle: B+

Major ins: Martin Dubravka (Sparta Prague, undisclosed), Kenedy (Chelsea, loan), Yoshinori Muto (Mainz, undisclosed), Salomon Rondon (West Brom, loan), Fabian Schar (Deportivo, £3m), Ki Sung-yueng (Swansea, free), Federico Fernandez (Swansea, £6m)

Major outs: Adam Armstrong (Blackburn, £1.75m), Jack Colback (Nottingham Forest, loan), Chancel Mbemba (Schalke, undisclosed), Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad, undisclosed), Matz Sels (Strasbourg, £3.5m)

MERSE SAYS: I like Kenedy, I thought he did really well last year. I don't mind Salomon Rondon, I know they let Dwight Gayle and Mitrovic go, but if they can get him going, he's a handful. I don't know much about a couple of the other players, but keeping Kenedy on loan is a big deal for them, he was one of their best players last season. People are worried about Newcastle, but I'm not worried about them. I think they'll be alright.

  12. We did better than anyone thought we'd do, fuckin hell Sven's cowardly bunch would've lost on pens to Colombia.  It is by far the worst England squad that have ever been to a World Cup and they got to the Semi Finals.  They were brave as fuck, Maguire summed the whole World Cup up for us.  He's nee Rio Ferdinand, Woodgate or Beckenbauer but fuck me the lad deserves all the praise in the world for his effort, and for me fuck Kane, he was our player of the tournament.  Grew up in a Yorkshire council house never looked like leaving Sheffield, and he was MOTM 3 times for me.  Proud of England, very average on paper, but they gave everything they've got.  Anyway Newcastle are like an 8 on its side in terms of how more important they are than England, that is a genuine fact.

  13. I watched Croatia last night and it's years since I got as involved in a game as much not involving England or Newcastle.  It was blissful.  Croatia were so well organised and Messi didn't really get a kick, I was thinking why don't Spanish teams do what they did, with 2 and 3 around him every time he got the ball, well thinking about it, the answer is they do but they're not as good as Croatia.  Magnificent stuff which will live long in the memory, well it probably won't with my fucked up heed!  Great stuff though.  The World Cup hasn't been at all bad so far and the genuinely good thing for your Colombia's, Croatia's and England's is based on the first 8 days of competition anyone remotely decent has a chance in this tournament.

Am not suggesting either are that good tbh. I know one thing, Liverpool have been better with Henderson in the side than without him. Dier isn't as mobile and his passing range is even worse than Hendersons.

You're entitled to your views but for England Henderson has done little and Dier's passing is quality in my view.  As are his free kicks and he's good in the air as he proved in Germany with his winning goal in Berlin the other year.

Eric Dier has better distribution and is a better defender than Jordan Henderson and is a bigger aerial threat to boot.

Correct. Free kicks too, as demonstrated in the Euro's in Marseille.
