1. Bet there's several tv producers kicking themselves for missing a potentially great docusoap subject.
2. Would like Mexico to do well as their captain Marquez is one of my favourite players.
3. All the talent in the world, and while he might have had excuses to partly explain why he didn't do it at Newcastle, I'll still never forgive the bottling twat for that first goal at Marseille we conceded.
4. I reckon Harper's reputation is pretty far in excess of his talent. If he wants to stay fine, but this annual charade about should he leave for first team football is very boring. Personally I hope this is his last year, as I think Tim Krul has a chance of being a decent goalkeeper, and he should be given the chance to be Shay's deputy sooner rather than later.
5. At least if he goes to la liga he won't be able to score against us, as he always seemed to do over the years. Cracking player, but I don't think we can afford quality like that any more
6. Wish we could, but they're just thrashing out the final details of a new contract for him I think. Can still dream though. It'd be one very happy Kirkey if we managed it, and it sounds like you'd be just the same.
7. Marquez is a fantastic footballer. Pleasure to watch.
8. He still needs to be shot for diving for that penalty in 1987 the cheating bastard. I was gutted seeing Spurs beat us in the cup on match of the day that night. And it was on classic match of the day a few years ago on uk gold, the swine definitely did dive.
9. Should be safe enough if you were stuck in the home end though, canny lads and lasses in Norwich, once they stop twanging their banjoes of course
10. I know (to say the least) he doesn't do himself any favours in cyberspace, but I always reckoned he was basically a harmless kid. And that night on the old board in the chatroom when he was talking about Beyonce Knowles was simply the stuff of legend.
11. I think O'Neill rightly saw what level of interference he'd have to put up with from Shepherd at Newcastle and wisely decided to give the place a swerve. And that's even before Alan Shearer was officially confirmed in the background lurking role. I think O'Neill would have been a good appointment, so bad news for supporters, but he'll be better off personally away from Gallowgate.
12. Where does he live ? Can't see too many managers living by that set of criteria, somewhat limits the potential of finding success. 145864 I think he lives down Wycombe kind of area IIRC. 145881 You're right, he lives in Bucks
13. in concert on mtv2 now, canny afternoon viweing.
14. It's the best club in the world the England squad, once you get into it you'll never get out, as that little puff from n17 is proof. Doesn't matter if you play well consistently over the course of the season like Scott Parker or Kevin Nolan did, you've got little chance of getting in.
15. The bloke's a charlatan. When confronted by the fact he'd said for ages he was building up to this tournament since 2001 as the peak of his 'golden generation' how did it develop that a kid who was 15 and unheard of then, become so important he'd play him with one leg if he could No answer from Sven, and while nobody's denying Rooney's injury isn't a bad thing, if we have as many world class players and he and loads of other people think, it wouldn't be that much of a blow.
16. He was a late call up I think, but I'm fully prepared to be proved wrong as I'm not sure myself. Mind just because the fact isn't in possession of Alan Oliver it doesn't mean it's not true!
17. Convenient excuse for the manager when England fail again, 'ah but if we had a fully fit Wayne' In a bittersweet way as I don't like Eriksson, it's been amusing seeing the broadsheet writers absolutely rip to shreds all his bullshit over the last few years in their latest works, but makes you realise England's got no chance with him in charge.
18. I'm sure he did, will have to see if I can find out for definite
19. It'll certainly make his eyes water when the opposition test how well it's healed with a few sly stamps.
20. I'm more concerned about how Scotty Parker's getting over his glandular fever to be honest.
21. Our own Lee Clark played in that game as well iirc? He definitely played for England in the tournament
22. You can't top perfection man! They could remake the second one though as that was dire.
23. I think that'll happen after turkeys start voting for Christmas mate. Wenger's best mate is the guy who runs the football academy in the Ivory Coast and sends all those players into the EU, Arsenal's into this big style.
24. I'd have at least two albums by The Clash in there, but I am a bit biased.
