  1. My thoughts exactly. Your team is 100% right imo. Lots of effective grafters, pace up top and strength at the back. Please let him not play the slow, weak and ineffective Viduka either. Many on here would disagee but i'd seriously rather Shola and i'd have Carroll ahead of either.
  2. I'll be back to argue in my lunch break!! Got work now.
  3. I have been using N O L for sometime and recently decided to try out Toontastic to compare, this is what i found: There is no bullying going on here say the moderators? Arsene wenger syndrome (selective eyesight) or what? VERY VERY CLiCKY ON THIS SITE. ALOT LIKE AN INBRED GAY BAR (so Alex tells me). This is how it goes i've discovered, (someone lets say Gemmill or his dearest Alex say for example) picks a fight with someone fairly new to the board, now you either A ignore them (the best thing to do in all fairness). B walk away with your tail between your legs upset or C (if you've taken a bit too much like me) stand up for yourself argue your point and give a bit back. Now because the older members (certain members, Mods and Admin's) are all bumming one another on here they all pile in on the same side to protect there most favourite bum chums). Now i am far from the only person who has fallen into this trap but would just like to warn others what the crack is here. Toontastic V Newcastle on Line - Toontastic despite constant sniping at N O L (out of obvious jelousy) are almost always last to the big stories, almost everything on Toontastic has already appeared on Newcastle online previously. Its often virtually dead too. Its basically not even half the site that N O L is. This i suspect will always be, unless the people in charge of the site need to keep the bully boys in check because its just a small clicky group on there (not everyone by the way), this prevents others getting as involved as they are not one of the inbred gang. Gemmill and other double agents (under different names) are found on N O L too so be warned! Gemmills Toontastic Sig is: QUOTE(HTT) This forum will die a death pretty soon because it's too snobby, too perpetual. N.O is a Newcastle United Fans Forum, a community, and always will be, long after this one has gone. O RLY? This is the thread when i decided to stand up for myself against the Clicky bunch. who rally round very quickly. http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11584 (i had dared to argue with Gemmill and subsequent bum chums on another thread, so this time they came back stronger).
  4. Thats actually very funny!!! Well done!!! P.s. I knew you were a shit stabber btw!!!
  5. Whoa the big boys are out now Moderaters and guys from Admin. Gemmill must be good at giving head or something or was it Obagoals crying? I hoped you'd tell him to stop whinging, till i worked out he's shagging shearergol. Anyways - P.s. I realise that this probably means i'm banned, because some little power happy computer nerd has a tiny bit of power, but if it means i have to bow down to bullies such as Gemmill and Alex, then so be it because i'm not backing down to the likes of them (i.e. scumbags).
  6. I laughed alot at Nobby's and Patrokles when they came out with: alex bums gemmil TBH I'm not sure that's possible, Gemmill would have to be on his front. I'm assuming Alex is the pitcher. No ones come close to beating that yet imo nobby's probably done the most sensible thing and decided not to waste anymore time on you and your bum chum.
  7. Oh please don't go pretend crying to the Ref trying to get me a red, who do you think you are ..?? ...Robbie Savage or Will Young or someone? Very sensitive tonight sweetie, i take it your still in the closet then?
  8. I find Mong (Offensive expression alluding to someone with Down Syndrome, being Mongoloid) very offensive as a very good friend of mine has a sister he looks after with down syndrome. Your quite sick Gemmill and very out of order, there may well be a few people on here who have friends relatives who have down syndrome, i don't suppose you've ever thought of that have you? How offensive would one need to be for you to permanently fuck off this site? Nobby can answer this one too if he fancies... Another fudge packer i take it???
  9. Great comeback. Only took you an hour to steal someone else's joke. Because i'd been away from the computer DOH!!!! So do you spit or swallow?
  10. No I thought that Gemmill was the giver and Alex the taker tbh Where do you stand on the gay adoption issue you pair of lovely boys?

  12. Posted Today, 04:33 PM QUOTE(Gemmill @ Jan 30 2007, 04:31 PM) http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?...c=11355&hl= Mong. Yes it got a bit old, and the info is out of date so better a new thread me thinks.
  13. I fear you maybe right. If Shambles and/or car starts i fear the worst as Young, Carew and Barry will tear them open.
  14. Given and Nobby added to injury list, Duff and possibly Shambles back. Now there must be a defensive formation that keeps Shambles and Car out Harper Hunty Taylor Gooch Edgar (Roeder may not start Gooch but i would. Tall defence) Milner Butt Parker Duff (hopefully Duff will start to shine) Dyer Martins (Martins will score imo) Subs **** Krul/Pav Bramble/Car O'brien Le Sib Carroll 3-0 win
  15. A top quality left back and these two i'd be happy enough with. Very shrewd move by Roeder and Fred if they gets them both on loan basis with 'no strings'. We can give them back if they don't look up to it !! Unlike a certain scotsman i could mention, that spunked the best part of £20m on Boumsong and Luque not to mention nearly that again on Owen which is the reason we are a bit skint at the mo. Where's the LB though???
  16. They probably should own him first... They probably have first option on making the deal a permenent one, and if they have that then I'd imagine they'd take it up. Means fuck all if he doesn't want to stay though. Depends on him really. Good points, he'd be with us now then surely if he wanted to be or is its a case of Glenn doesn't want to take the considerable risk on him? I think its actually a bit of both, but if its only one of those reasons the chances of him coming here are very slim. I'd take a straight swap for Luque right now, but can't see that happening either because of his catalonian roots.
  17. Gemmill do you even have an argument/a point/thoughts/a brain ? Easy to sit back and try (unsuccessfully i might add) to pick holes in someone else's argument without offering positive thoughts on a route forward yourself. My point is simply this: 1. We are not going to be able to sign a John Terry or a Rio. 2. We 've paid big money for the likes of Boumsong, Shambles and have even brought in experienced Full backs in Car and baba and it hasn't worked out, (failed miserably in fact). Should we 'A' panic and sign another big money defender i.e. Curtis for £9m who may well turn out to be another flop like Shambles or Boum or should we 'B' let pearson work with the very promising potential, crop of youngster defenders and mould them into quality players? Taylor is our future in defence build round him. When i put it like this, surely even Gemmill can figure out the right move. That sounds ludicrous to me TOPTOON and please stop using the tabloid nonsense like Shambles - it makes you look thick. As for moulding quality? Well you can to some extent but having seen some exceptional talent at Newcastle from relatively young players in Waddle, Beardsley and Gascoigne as well as those who proved to be very good players like Andy Cole you are so well wide of the mark in your claims that Taylor is 'awesome'. He is fortunate that we have fuck all else tbh. Kids tend to buy the hype. It is obvious that you have. YOu told us that Ramage would be a very good player at centre half and that it wasnt fair to judge him on hi time at fullback. It was patently obvious he didnt have the physical quality to play there at Premiership level. Taylors fuck ups at U21 level and Premiership level are not infrequent. He is, however, young. The kids simply dont have that obvious quality that the good players mentioned above did have. There isnt a centre half on our books who could kick a young Steve Howey's arse never mind Jonathan Woodgates. The future is in the transfer market. If you cant see the obvious flaws in the games of Taylor, Ramage or Huntington then you are misguided in the extreme. We have had a team of talented kids playing for us before and those kids were light years ahead of the talent we currently have from the academy. (3 of them made the England squad when it was difficult to do so and another did later on) That lot almost got us relegated to the old Third Division. We need experience and we need pace at the back. The kids provide us with neither of those attributes. Yes i rate the kids coming through, despite them going through a sticky patch at the moment i think some of them will come good. Unless we can get someone of real quality in i'd work with them as they have real potential imo. So i take it you go along with others on here saying that, we need an experienced CB in and the kids are no good and they'd preffer to go back to SHAMBLES and Moore?? While i'd geniunely welcolme someone of real quality i.e. Sol Campbell, i'd really question Who is availiable and who we'd be able to get in right now. There's not seemingly an abundance of quality CB's available due to teams not wanting to let go of there better players half way through the season and risk being caught short. Even If there is we have alot of competition to fend off and not just from the big boys anymore, the likes of Villa west ham and spurs have some seriously big money to spend, b'ham are desperate to hang on to Upson and West Ham have just apparently knocked back a bid of £6m, thats alot of money for an injury prone defender. So tell me who you'd go for and how much we should pay?? (i'm not expecting you to answer this question but fair play to you, if you can). Woodgate in summer, £5m Even though he is one of the most injury prone players i have ever known, he is also the best defender i have ever seen in a black and white strip (in my lifetime). I'd personally probably just take that gamble. However the chance that middlesborough would sell him to us never mind for £5m is nearly nil.
  18. Luque over parker and Duff?? No chance Nate! I didn't realise Parker could play wide left. If Luque isn't going to leave during this window, i would play him until N'Zogbia is fit. I wasn't predicting Roeder's line-up anyway. No but Duff and Emre can, a dam sight better than luque can imo too. So you ask people for their lineup, and then criticise them if it's different to yours? Just a bit of lighthearted banter! Nothing to take too seriously to heart

  21. It's practically upside down! Like your brain if your serious!
  22. This is my favourite, when the simpleton actually thinks he holds the upper hand. Should I just throw you over? oh right, you've lost the argument and made yourself look like a prat, so its a slanging match you want now? No ta! I've wasted far too much time on you already. Good luck to you Gemmill (you'll certainly need it).
  23. Gemmill do you even have an argument/a point/thoughts/a brain ? Easy to sit back and try (unsuccessfully i might add) to pick holes in someone else's argument without offering positive thoughts on a route forward yourself. My point is simply this: 1. Taylor is our future in defence build round him. When i put it like this, surely even Gemmill can figure it out the right move. I don't know how you dare accuse me of having no brain, with some of the thick as pigshit stuff you spout on here. "Let's stick with the current defenders that we have. They might just come good." Have you heard of C. Sign an experienced centre-half? Or are you only allowing yourself the two options, you fucking numbskull. OOOooo don't let me get to you Gemmy baby And who exactly would you have us sign? Give an example? P.s. Not a bad sugestion though for you, who did you steal it off? Honestly mate, you're an idiot and you prove it every time you post on here. A month back you posted your starting 11 if everyone at the club was fit, and it featured Duff at left back. A left winger at left back. A few weeks have passed and now you say that we need sign no defenders despite that fact that you think our best left back is a left winger. Keep up the good work. In future, stick to your TEAM FOR A MATCH 3 WEEKS FROM NOW and PLAYER RATINGS threads. Clearly logical thought is not your strong point. Been doing your homework and checking back on all my old posts to see if you can dig up any dirt i see. Didn't find any ??? Oh dear thats the best you could come up with? You really are a complete Div aren't you??? How can anyone be expected to stick with the same team for three weeks bearing in mind the squad is different week in week out with little things you may have heard of such as INJURIES (players missing because of them and players returning from them) SUSPENSIONS (players missing because of them and players returning from them) not to mention FORM (a player who has played badly, you may want to replace with another)!!! And u have the nerve to call me a Numbskull .. when you think its strange people changing their teams around a bit, more often than every three weeks!!!! Your laughably thick!!! I've had enough of discussing things with you now. I'm spelling out for you how fucking thick you are and you can't grasp it. It's like trying to lead a man with no limbs around an obstacle course. Keep up the good work, mongboy. Very disapointed with this comeback gemmy!! You basically know you fucked up and have lost the argument so u decided to throw back some playground type insults back instead, to try and save face, because you know you look like a right propper div.
  24. Gemmill do you even have an argument/a point/thoughts/a brain ? Have you heard of C. Sign an experienced centre-half? Or are you only allowing yourself the two options, you fucking numbskull. OOOooo don't let me get to you Gemmy baby And who exactly would you have us sign? Give an example? Not my job to give examples. It's up to the club to establish a scouting network that does this for them. Sticking with the current back line on the off-chance that Edgar and Huntington just might make it as Premiership players is crazy though. How many goals have we conceded in January alone? And you want to persevere with this defence. Interesting as well that in your team for Villa you've selected Duff at left-back. Good way of demonstrating your faith in the defenders you say we should be sticking with. Ok ..... so your not going to give any examples....??? ..... what a surprise. I notice that you haven't even thought up a team V Villa for tomorrows game (what a shocker) just trying to pick holes again without offering your own arguments i see. Very easy to sit on your fat behind and critize everone else, much harder to come up with your own arguments of course. Other than Baba, Duff is the only natural left footer we have who i know is capable of playing LB. I personally happen to think that we should really go for Villa from the off after our very poor starts lately and that is our best team in order to do that. None of Taylor, Ramage, Hunty or Edgar (despite his impressive performance v Man u) are left footers or even Fullbacks dipshit, so yes its Duff for me ! I find the "Pick the team that you think will play the next game....oh go on, it'll be FUN" threads mind-numbing tbh. So we have no one in the current list of defenders who can play at left back, but you say we should stick with our current defenders and make no signings. You are a fucking genius. Its not pick the team you think will play, its pick the TEAM THAT YOU WOULD PLAY YOU MORON!!! i.e. to get a bit of an idea of what most peoples thoughts are, who they rate and to see different peoples ideas. You really are unbelievably dumb!! For the record i think we should sign a quality LB but shoulden't spend shit loads on a CB. i also happen to think there are very few quality CB's availiable right now so we should work with the six we have till the end of the season/untill we can find a decent one.
