I'd say the fault wasn't in Boumsong or Coloccini, more the player alongside in most cases. Boumsong got hung out to dry by Roeder after partnering some lightweight reserve on the night. Coloccini looked awful alongside Steve Taylor who far from being the big dominant centre half used to run back to his goal line as a second keeper in the premier. Not surprised that the scapegoat was a foreigner considering Leazes is the topic starter though.

I've got the Hero since last November. It's not as good for net use as the iphone but otherwise it's a beautiful handset and with it being a google device there is a massive amount of compatible software and apps to make this a decent alternative to Microsoft. Google Chrome, Googlemail, Google Calendar etc. For me that's all I really need from a phone so for £15 less a month than the iphone it's very nice indeed.

From what I've seen Guthrie doesn't have good technique under pressure as he tends to get hustled out of possession quite easily.It's all well and good saying he needs movement around him but he doesn't offer that much movement himself usually. But yes, he can pick a pass given time and space.

Agree about Lovenkrands starting, I don't think he contributes a lot to the build up play in general. He's a handy player to have on the bench in any case as he is very capable of nicking a goal.

Exactly. Poor team performance, as we should have had enough quality to beat Blackpool. The coming weeks will be interesting to see how Hughton handles being forced to leave players out. I started a thread last week (I think it was) in which I stated he hadn't been really forced to make any decisions due to the team virtually picking itself. Things are different now with more senior players becoming available for too few places. If Hughton can look past the seniority and start picking balanced sides it will be a help. He had Lovenkrands and Ranger available yesterday so he wasn't exactly forced to pick four central midfielders.
