Well for i can understand where craig is coming from and some points are valid i think it would be a total disaster if we went down. It would add another 2 years onto the plan we have now. And essentially lead to more frustration for us fans. Not to mention we would lose the best part of our team and still be left with the dead wood. As someone mentioned before, this season is a void, concentrate on stability for the rest of the season. Get a bit of team spirit going and maybe a little winning mentality. Followed up with a long waited for summer of spending and an influx of quality players we will challenge for europe next year. I for one will be dissapointed we wont have magical midweek games in europe next year, but id rather see us steady build a squad who will do well in europe rather than a team get into europe and flouder and fail miserably. as take that once said "things can only get better" they disapeared and reinvented them selves! haha

Just my thoughts exactly, i mean if tozer hasnt gone out on loan then give him a go as enrique is doubtful, i mean spurs gave gunter his chance against arsenal?? dean sturridge got his chance for citeh so why not throw the new boys in the mix? Lualua was thrown in and looked decent. Once we are safe though, give them more and more pitch time, it can only be good for them imo.

Just wondering going back to what KK said recently about if he didnt get any real quality in this window he would let you young talent have a go, do you think zamblera will get a shot? (probably not with our service! ) I know lua lua has come to the fore, and andy carroll do you guys think we will see them much since this season is pretty much a void? Also has tzer went back out on load or not? and what about this hungarian kid did we eventually sign him?

Well 2-0....and 1st half we were decent, second half we just didnt get going! I hea rozenhal was at fault for the goal! But i think KK was right to bring him on, enrique was poor and he didnt have much choice on the bench other than to bring rozenhal on. I think the performance smacks of a lack of a dead ball specialist (bentley) and a quality winger (bentley) OH and and creative midfielder (modric, arshavin). Just my opinion PS maybe a striker that can actually stay onside, control the ball and at least hit the target! AAAAAAARGH as im typin butt scores own goal! oh well..............

Yeah im not sure too, he was by far one of the best centre halfs we had, barring his injuries. Now i just dont know if he'd cut it!? I just dont know

Berbatov a newcastle fan? Says who? I'd be amazed if any top class player turned down the chance to join Man Utd for Newcastle to be honest. Newcastle UEFA cup hopefulls while Man Utd are likely to pick up 1 trophy (at least) this season. No idea. Cheers bud cudnt find it...do you think we'd stand a chance? I think if Shearer spoke to him he'd probabaly cry with joy , we just need Shearer on board. Or maybe Keegan could swing it. Im quietly optimistic, if there is some substance in the rumour in the first place i think we could get him. Money is no object really is it? Time to test spurs's resolve and berbaz love for the club, baring in mind berba would of grown up watchin KK's entertainers i think KK could persuade him! He's worth £15-20m in my opinion but we'd get him for £25-30m as they would take the piss i reckon. But id say we are again an attractive prospect. I know what your saying but how many of those actually had valid quotes from there agents confirming out interest? Not many would by my guess....papers band names about on a daily basis, few actually have substantial quotes backing them up! And yes i know SNN is rapidly becoming an unfounded rumour mill, but they do get it right sometimes. And with quotes from arshavins agent we got to be optimistic and pleased we are actually in the running!

I know i know but its good to know that a player of his calibre has recognised our interest. So it means we are actually in the running doesnt it? Do you guys think we could actually get him? He is the new beardsley imo.
