hes done fuck all for holland so far. the dutch league has a habit of producing a different top scorer every season who gets poached by a bigger european club. some, like nistlerooy, ronaldo, turn out good, some, like kezman, fail miserably. At the minute Kuyt looks like he might fall into the latter category.

Id much rather have defoe than bent. Defoe has hit a bad patch at spurs and we could get him for half of what hes worth if he has a good season. Bent looked totally out of his league in his 1 game for england and i cant see him terrorising european defences tbh. I think a bit of tlc by roeder and shearer will get defoe back to his best.
Hasslebaink makes sense for 12months, hes free and we are desperate. it suits both parties.
