  1. Lets not forget he doesnt trust Arabs, only Nigerian internet made millionaires.
  2. not now because its been fucked up for him, there have been over a dozen games where he could have and probably should have at least made a sub appearance, he should have been kept fresh throughout the season so he could be called upon when Martins or Owen got injured. Instead he is 6th choice, £5.5m for 6th choice striker? LOL, argubly 7th because Duff is preffered!
  3. there is potential there, he needs a run of games, confidence and decent coaching and he'd be a half decent player, certainly better than Carroll and Ameobi. Judging by Kinnears comments at the start of his reign he kicked Xisco out because of the language barrier. I feel sorry for him, he's been ruined.
  4. credit to Alan Oliver for inventing some fuel for southerners to have a dig at us with eff off judas twat
  5. Arsene Wenger vs Joe Kinnear and a bunch of young spanish shit??? Aston Villa are an example of copying Wenger for footballing results, they buy top young talent, english talent (we sell it). Wenger sold the deadwood and bought youth throughout his Arsenal days. Why have we bought players who inevitably turned into deadwood and we've spent millions on foreign youth that have hoplessly flopped, spanish under 21s my arse, they barely ever got a game for the spanish under 21s, it was like signing Andy Surman for £6m. Our model is nothing like Arsenals. We have to clear the deadwood and invest heavily in quality youth for the first team, not 16 year old Slovakian's. Obviously i bet taking £12m for Milner made Ashley rub his hands at this Arsenal-esq approach, but to blow it the way we have disgusts me.
  6. haha is that derek llambias in the pink skirt?
  7. We need pace upfront when Martins is out, if this is who we have to settle with then so be it. Now about the rest of the squad...
  8. he took the bus back off the club when Keegan left i dont think he supported us.. he just hated Man Utd like everyone else
  9. if we didnt have to pay Smith, Viduka, Geremi, Cacapa and Dennis Wise we'd break even eh...
  10. obviously neither of them have heard of a mobile phone, or maybe Llambias is gunna play???
  11. its a good job no one expects anything at City anyway ey...
  12. selling our best players has never been a good thing. With Shay Given we're set up with one of the best goalkeepers in the league for the next 7 years. He's not as replaceable as people think long term. Short term it would be nice to see Harper play some games but its debatable how good he'd be, he hasnt played in a long time, he's getting older, its going to take a run of games to get into it, then there is the flaws in his game such as communication with his defence. We've been here before thinking our better players are replaceable and we wont need them that much, we shouldnt be selling them we should be adding to them, but i guess with Ashley and Wise incharge we have no hope. I dont care if it is a lot of money. Gary Speed went and it was "his passing was going off, Butt will improve us" that worked out well didnt it? Woodgate left and people said "a lot of money, he's always injured, we can buy a replacement" that worked out well for us in the playing department didnt it! Nobby Solano was sold first time we had the excuse of "his legs were going" went on to be top scorer and assister for Villa, came back, we sold him again and replaced him with Geremi. Craig Bellamy, "fuck off welsh twat we have Shearer and Kluivert" that worked a treat. Scott Parker "Butt was out playing him, he cant attack, Barton will improve us a lot" oh what we'd give for one of west hams best players in the middle of the park right now. James Milner... "thats a lot of money we dont need him we have spiderman" we've had managers and owners take control of situations and make mistakes, Olivier Bernard being a big one of them. It is a massive risk losing one of your best players and thinking its alright we'll sign someone else. Its not going to be easy to replace Given or any top player, we've lost players before, its often taken a while to replace them, but have their modern day replacements gave us more than what we would have gotten off the previous player, for the majority of cases... no. We need to be aware of the massive issue of replacing these players! Yes some have blips of form and areas of their game that need improving. We need every UEFA Cup quality player we can keep. Most importantly we cant let Mike Ashley sell off these players and play the protect investment game, it will be the end of us waving good bye to Givens and Owens, it will severely damage our future, how many times in the past have these names and big players we've had been key to saving us when seasons were mucked up, key to being an attractive club to play for, attractive club to manager. I cant believe how much of our reputation has been destroyed by Mike Ashley and Co in the past year. It makes me want to throw up and slit my wrists, we're being ruined and i dont trust the future being in the hands of Mike Ashley enough to be able to make up excuses for Givens exit and look for positives and try and play down this loss. We're falling and falling and i find myself clinically depressed because of it, no hope left. People keep saying oh Given isnt worth that much to survival... but i bet his presence in the dressing room is huge, i bet it will shatter the players and their confidence even more so, which is extremely worrying!!!!
  13. not agreeing with someone doesnt make them a fucken idiot £10m on a centre mid and nothing on anyone else is ludicrus, i'd rather go with what we have, that will be good enough. Oh no i am a fucken idiot like Kinnear who wants to blow his entire budget on a centre mid, how does that work., you cant liken me to Kinnear just because you dont agree with me. Joey Barton and Obafemi Martins will will be key just like last season, full backs will shore us up better at the back. We're not going down, we are good enough to stay up, even with a mere 2 signings, it's a question of how comfortable we make it for ourselves, i guess i am a fucken idiot for thinking so though. We're going down unless we spend £100m and replace everyone fast, lmao. Our full backs keep costing us goals, fix that first and foremost. M'Bia £10m, dont make me laugh.
  14. this is true, but we have had these signs in january before. There are 9 clubs in the same points boat. A couple of key players return we win some games we survive. I'm not going to say we're going down and be pessimistic and panic. We will be in a fight with at least 6 other clubs. In 10 games time we can start worrying. Form can turn easily though, either way. The worry for me is our fixtures, big guns come here, we go away to those around us.
  15. that was a long time ago!!! When was the last time we were "vicious"???? If we're going to go on past quotes like that, a certain Alan Shearer said the pressure from the home support makes us play better but we dont have that pressure away. There has been a massive difference in mentality since Allardyce left and the footballing world slated us. And thus without it we would be even worse. You want to shatter the players completely then we wont pick up any points at home. It would be post Keegan all over again, so to do that now, at this stage in the season would be catastrophic. Wow we're 2 points off relegation, dont exaggerate the position, there are 9 teams in touching distance. Since Kinnears "ship steadying" we have an average point turnover good enough to keep us up, no one can predict if we will continue it. In some of those games we have points in if there was no fucker there we would have lost. too late now unless you want to send us down. The protests made him put the club up for sale... FACT The fact that the team got better and the fans shut up meant he's changed his mind. Everyone has been played, not because we all didnt walk out, but because protests stopped when Ashley said he'd go. Mike Ashley doesnt care about the people who've payed and dont go, i bet he laughs his head off at them everynight, it has no effect on Mike Ashley at this stage, only the players. Those who dont renew next season will effect him, but that is a long way away and so much can happen between now and then, Ashley knows that, hence why he is here. His only hope is to learn off freddy shepherd, whenever he smelt abuse he bought someone.
  16. If you're willing to see the club relegated then thats the way to go, no one turns up, constant protests and boycotting, it will end us harder than Mike Ashley ever could. I've payed for my season ticket, if i dont show the players support then we will be relegated.
  17. we have to wait til the end of the season, but no way should he take us beyond that
  18. because maybe they're not ready for at least another year or two or maybe even three. If he had of played them and lost there would have been hell about dropping first team names for the FA Cup which we should be taken seriously. We lost to Hull with only really a right back and striker missing, the FA Cup means a lot to this club and progressing would give us something to look forward during the rest of the season, injuries... lack of depth... so what, its fucken january, why cant that be sorted now, no reason to rest players, buy some, loan some. There was no one else who isnt good enough or better than the other players in that position in terms of playing there week in week out. Hull barely left their own half, they got lucky, Given didnt even get his gloves wet never mind dirty. As for yesterday, Blackburn played piss poor first half, we should have been leading, everyone knows Joe Kinnear's half time team talks are piss poor and the team come out hopeless time and time again, but even still we were comfortable until Rob Styles through the game at Blackburn, then we fell apart. Our problems are confidence, leadership and fight rather than having loads of crap players. We have depth and management issues. Man for man we are better than the two teams that have just beaten us, we even played better than both of them for the majority of the games.
  19. how british are we, sending angry letters this may seem strange but i think the best way to get the message across is to get legends publically complaining and question the money situation. Lets say the likes of Bobby Robson, Alan Shearer, Bobby Moncur, Les Ferdinand and others in media were to get big voice space for their comments then Ashley will feel the pressure more than supporters sending things. He wont listen to fans, he will have been told our opinion doesnt count and not to get too wound up by us.
  20. if you think its bad now wait until sunderland beat us on our own patch
  21. when i read the title i thought it was going to be because Middlesbrough and Sunderland are worse
  22. Let's think about the £10m buys in the summer, we dont need to go out and splash the cash to try and replace midfielders, we need to buy where we dont have any quality at all available, ala full backs. With Barton returning i have faith that we will have enough in the middle to stay up. The squad needs bolstering, we need back up pace upfront.... Leroy Lita £300k will do.
  23. There are 5 or 6 other clubs probably saying the same thing.
  24. Kinnear seems to have a lot to say every single day. These comments will wind up every single Newcastle fan, thumbs up JFK
  25. its an unhealthy addiction and i couldnt live with myself knowing newcastle are playing at st james' park no matter who it is against and i'd not be there or care??? Thats why i make a 320 mile round trip for home games, its an addiction, i hate missing home games in the cup or even friendlies. Only money will stop me going. I dont know what can stop me constantly wondering what the latest news is. Perhaps if i move to the USA and glory hunt some american football team i wouldnt find myself constantly depressed.
