Two week ago we were all rejoicing at the prospect of a major take over and ousting fat boy, we all thought we were going to get Millions to spend, then a couple of week later reality strikes. 1. We cant even afford Barton 2. Fat Fred is digging his heels in and is probably going to scupper the proposed take over, or at the very least let it drag on and ruin any chance in the Transfer Market. 3. Most of our proposed targets are Free, or unknown and cheap. Any decent targets we may have had now have other clubs interested because we are too slow. Why dont we stop bleating on about Transfer Rumours and realise that there wont be any significant signings this window, Roeder has been hinting for days now that he may have to resort to loan deals and that is exactly what will happen, i dont think its lack of funds, more like Roeder being terrified to commit.
