1. Fat Fred will be soon be announcing the new candidates for the next geordie managers course
2. I'm sure some members or the Sandal wearing fraternity would prefer to see the perpetrator sent on a wind-surfing course in the lake district. 6047 Are these the same sandal wearers you said would be up in arms over the bloke who got shot by the Met on the day it happened? Maybe, as in that case you should wait until the facts of the case emerge before trying to start an argument against a non-existent group in society. I can't imagine any right-minded individual who would want anything other than heaviest sentences being given to the perpetrators of a crime like this. I would imagine the only people who would have a problem with that would be the jack boot rather than sandal wearing variety. 6380 oh dear. The jack boot packs a heavier - and more deserving - kick Alex, preferably with spikes. Every day, on numerous occasions, until the scumbag begs for the electric chair to put him out of his misery.
3. I am filled with equal dread, and have the same reservations about Emre. I have never, ever, in 40 years, felt the way I do about Newcastle as I do at the moment. I hate this manager. I despise him, he is a failure, a fool, a bully, a coward, incompetent and is destroying the club. I have a mental image of his pacemaker speeding up whenever Robert criticised him on his website and it makes me smile. I have a mental image of Craig Bellamy telling us, when Souness is sacked, " I told you so and I didnt' want to go but this liar and total idiot gave me no choice". I have a mental image of some "proper" Blackburn and Liverpool fans feeling genuinely sorry for us because they have suffered as we are. I have a mental image of others laughing at us for being so stupid as to appoint him in the first place, and some of us for STILL believing we should give him time.
4. You lovvvve it!! Come on Leazes whos it gonna be? which lucky man'd get to ride the Leazes express? 6053 I can't, i've not led a sheltered life - far from it - but I'm f**king speechless
5. ....got serious reservations about some of you lot ...
6. On the odd night out in town we end up in the pubs near the central station, round from pink lane , they used to be drinking dens but they've been done up a bit lately, still handy for the indian round the corner though, Latiffs. Before that Weatherspoon, Yates, Bodega can't remember all of them
7. No apologies for bringing back another old talking point. This is sick, one of the worst things I have read and one of the things the death penalty should be brought back for
8. if todays targets go through Faye Babarayo Moore Viduka Anelka [when he's lost interest by xmas] So the next manager can replace them in January with proper quality players
9. Came in here expecting a funny joke to cheer me up on monday and it was crap. Too long and I didn't understand the punchline. Could have done with an irishman. 5700 racist
10. Looking at those clips, I'm astounded he wanted to play for NUFC - maybe he is who Shepherd was talking about
11. Ok but it may take a week or so before I get disks burned etc in case I make an arse of something
12. I take it your on about a certain Mr. Wadsworth - hasnt he been sacked from every managerial job hes had since he left us? 5315 Indeed it was Mr Wadsworth. When you hear pompous ex professionals or whatever bleating on about fans not understanding the game etc then see players like him recommended by a highly qualified coach it makes me smile. The stupid arse must have been the only person in the stadium who thought that duffer was worthy of anything more than being a ball boy. Quite simply one of the worst players I've ever seen play for Newcastle and thats saying something. He was good for a laugh though, the sight of him sprinting 50 yards to take a pushed pass was worth the admission fee alone, which he did a few times.
13. I was told about this last night, nice idea. Also told that I might need a "key" to register along with a code [which i have, as I have a copy of a copy...... ] Will burn a few CD's first though in case it all goes tits up or something
14. still running in the opposite direction of the ball somewhere
15. is there any way to upgrade part of my drive to wXP from w98se ???? I currently have 65GB as c drive, and 15GB as d drive. I want to use xp for daily use but need to keep some space for w98se for some old games and maybe one or two applications for instance the old free version of winmx, and also internet use .... Is a better solution to buy a 30GB hard disk [for instance] and transfer all my current data to that, and re-format my current 80gb to XP ?? Opinions much appreciated ta.
16. ON....you should submit that to Truth Faith or the mag mate. Very good. PS if you don't can I nick it from you and I will
17. I wish I could... 4812 get yerself down there and take some photos.... just to refresh my memory like
18. But if we're using the terms us/them we're drawing a line somewhere. Who exactly is us, who is them? 4834 It wasn't me who suggested "us and them" in the first instance. As it happens I think that as this is England/Britain, "they" should adapt or not bother coming, as "they" are the ones who then adopt an "us and them" attitude by the very nature of not being prepared to adapt. [big political correctness debate about to start again.......] I would prefer you to answer the questions though, not the sentence that wasn't one !
19. Or we could try and take out the problem at source? These guys felt justified in what they did, if you take away their justification the lunatics can't recruit. Why don't you play that little scenario of yours above forward, where does it end up? We can't police a the underground effectively, let alone a country - even an island. Keep raising the stakes and where do you end up? So we need to find a way to stop the recruitment. It isn't us vs them, I feel a lot more affinity with Joe soap on another continent than a politician in any country. 4198 What exactly are you suggesting ? Stop them getting into the country, or give in to them ? You miss the point. THEY think it is us v them, not the other way round. Where does it end ? Good question, where do you think it will end if we just give in to them, allow them to dictate our policy - in their favour - and so "take away their justification". Play the scenario forward indeed, and I know what I see in this country in the future if this happens, and it isn't pretty.
