Wireless Sennheiser phones for metal detecting.

 

Absolute steal from Argos at £69

Sennheiser generally aren't decent for any editing/monitoring (especially wirelessly) so you'd generally want a decent pair of Audio-Technica or Pioneer (who use different processors) if you're wanting a lag free/real time audio experience.

 

Probably not ideal for recording music/metal detecting.

the Sennheisers HD25s are industry standard for djng, or at least they were when I used to play out. We use them at work for monitoring audio levels on video recordings and during edits.

 

agree that the pair CT has bought look pretty gash, but i'm not even sure what he's even trying to monitor while metal detecting - the bleeps from his detector?

I ended up in some random guitar / studio site last night and basically the 47ms lag is very noticeable for your needs but excellent for walking over horse shoes.
