Betfair- The lads with patience.

Recommended Posts

Despite my doubts on this kind of bet making any money long term, I think it's worth £20 to see how many games I can go as a bit of fun.

Game 1 - Tottenham v Man U - £20 @ 1.07 = £21.40

Hopefully I'll go further than Walliver.

Well I'm near enough 500 quid now, and If it all goes tits up, I've only put 20 on to begin with. It's hardly like I've earned the extra dosh.

Get it withdrawn and spent.

Aye, I wasn't planning on throwing another wager with is until next week, as I only do one a week now (with that money, anyway) Might get myself a LCD telly from Currys with the 500 knacker, like.

Right, this is a little thing that I've had going for a while, and I'm begginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

You put 20 pound or so, in your betfair account, and put it on a game you think there is going to be a goal in.

You can virtually pick the game where there is guaranteed goals, eg Man U-Watford. Very rarely is there a goaless draw in the premiership, and you can probably think of some other fixtures elsewhere in the world, where there is bound to be goals. So you put say 20 on a goal to be scored in the Man U-Watford game, at the decimal odds 1.07. So roughly speaking, for every tenna you put on, you'll get 70p back. Whatever you win, you put on the next game, you'll put on 21.40, and at the same odds you'll get 23.10 back, then you put the 23.10 on the next fixture etc etc.

Most games go at 1.1 decimal odds, so roughly after 5 games, you'll end up with 31.50. After 10 games you'll have roughly 51.40, at 20 games you'll have 132.60, at 30 you'll have 343.00. This is obviously, you putting your winnings from the last game, directly onto the next.

Milestones

50 games gets you 2306 pounds

60 games gets you 7235 pounds

Obviously, you've got to have bottle putting that kind of money on a wager, but when its something as simple as a goal being scored, it's not as hard as it seems.

Eventually, getting to 100 successful games will get you more that a million pounds.

I'm currently on 34, giving me around 420 quid. When I hit the five grand mark (if), I'm going to take out four of it, and put the other grand on the next game.

Even the most cautious of lads can do this, if you can select only two teams per week, to at least score, over the period of twleve months, you'll have at least 90+ bets, and if your daring, you'll make a shit load of cash. Takes patience though, as it seems your winning nowt at the start.

is there any chance you could gives us constant updates of your progress??

I won on Manu Spurs, then on Madrid Valente, then lost on Barcelona Osasuna.

Made and lost £3.30

;)

Still, Joined Bet365 and had £20 on Man U to win So I've made £14.40 and have a £20 free bet to make. I'll not be partaking in this folly with it again though.

Yeah I could do, but the odds are that there will be a goal (or not knowing my luck over the past couple of games!) You ever heard of www.fundmydegree.com ? Seems a legit scheme to earn quite a lot of money by taking advantage of free bets sites give you. Seems confusing but the matched betting makes a bit more sense than the casino betting thing.

There a big section on money saving expert about matched betting it does work, but you've got to be prepaid to open up many accounts and many different bookies

i dont really have the spare cash to do it right now

I've not got a lot of money either, may wait till my loan comes in  can you not do it small time then or do you have to be willing to spend a lot to get a lot back?

Quidco have upped the payment to £25.50 for each new account with paddy power but you do have to wager at least £10.00. Also they offer a free bet of £20 to all new customers after you have bet your £10 . Note free bet is SNR.

Although Paddy Power don't really offer the best SNR bet.
