Well, I thought you said the rest of the world associate it with Celtic. I'd say most people associate it far more with Liverpool than Celtic. Domestically and abroad.

]

No mate.

No matter who has or hasn't sang ynwa it will always be associated, world wide, with the redshite.

You seriously need to seek help son, if that's not obsessional hate then you give a very good impression.

I'm a blue for my sins and hate them passionately, never miss an opportunity to take the piss out of them, but deep down I know I'm jealous of them really and wish Everton could have had half the success they have.

As for your comment about being glad you weren't born on Merseyside, I can only second that wholeheartedly.

That's just ignorant. I associate YNWA with Celtic more than those cunts, they had it before Liverpool as their anthem. I understand though how insular the place is, and can see just why you would think that.

I don't think it, it's a fact, can't stand the shitty thing myself and if you associate it with Celtic, then fine, the rest of the world don't though. Maybe you should examine your own insular little place in the world.

Errrrr yes they do.

He's saying the rest of the world don't associate YNWA with Celtic, I didn't say once they don't associate it with Liverpool.

Most European football fans know it's Celtic's song too Newcastle BootBoy.

OK... great... obviously you didn't catch on that I wasn't trying to start a debate with you... but Most European football fans know it's Celtic's song??? Hardlly the rest of the world, wouldn't you agree?

Well in football terms it is.

:gettin: Well Done :D

As already stated, I'm a blue and agree with Gemmil about the song, but my older bro is a big red and has informed me that Celtic were the first team to play Liverpool after Hillsborough in a warm up game. Gerry Marsden was there to lead the fans in a joint ynwa. Celtic have sung it ever since.

What a clueless twat :D

That was April 1989. Celtic have been singing since the 60's and many sources suggest after the film Carousel in 1958.

Twat describes you adequately it's fair to say. Again, but as you aren't any good at providing sources for your made up fantasies I won't hold my breath while waiting, can you provide a source to your 1958 comment> Surely, as has already been suggested, they would have sung it at their European Cup Final.

Still no source? You are one of the stupidest, bigotted fans I've come across and appear to add made up tales in the hope it adds weight to your little stories.

So, your pointing to a Celtic site to prove your argument. Can't be arsed registering anyway.

Could you tell me why they didn't sing it at their European Cup Final?

Having said that you cant tar them all with the same brush though ive yet to meet a decent one arrogance doesnt become anybody. Alan Hanson on MOTD sour loser instead of taking it on the chin like we do.

Maybe its trumpet blowing but we have the reputation of the best travelling fans in the country we show the rest because we are the best.

Could you tell me how you know they didn't, apart from taking everything your scouse mate "Cocks on the Rocks" says at face value?

My brother is old enough to know, he made many friends at that game after Hillsborough and still keeps in touch with them. It's often the source of friendly pisstakes because they pinched Fields of Anfield Road from them.

If they'd sung it at the ECF it would have been known as Celtics song as they were the first British club to win it.

I can't quite believe that we've got a Newcastle and an Everton fan arguing over whether a song "belongs" to Liverpool or Celtic. Who gives a shite. Boring.

No one's going to win, and I can't believe anyone cares enough to try ffs.

All I'm going to say is I'm debating anything with a fuckin retard. Oh fuckin dear. You're still clinging to the assertion this was adopted by Celtic in 1989. Case closed.

You like a fuckin genital wart most of you lot, you're pointless, irritating and you just won't fuck off. I like healthy debate I won't be responding to you because it's not possible.

Fucking shite song anyway tbh.

It is the way they sing it with no pauses or metre. "Walk on walk on with hope in your heart and you'll never walk alone you'll neeeever walk alone". I realise educational standards aren't the highest in that part of the world, but you'd think they'd have heard of punctuation. :D

are we sure that footyfan and steveintoon aren't just two sides of the same coin? I reckon it's one fat mackem who is sniggering away to himself as he clogs up our board with this unadulterated petulant shite.

we sing "Blaydon races", "Shoes off" and "Sack the Board"... fuck all else matters tbh
