I think this is a real problem, the fact that Newcastle hasn't been able to really produce any talent of superior standard in recent years. Whatever you think of the likes of Ameobi, Edson Aarontes de Hughesinho, Chopra et al, they just haven't had the talent to really outstage other players being the same age in England. And as much as most of us have been pleased about the performances of Huntingdon, Edgar et al I still remember Roeder complaining about the lack of quality at the academy when he was still in charge. It is about time Newcastle United again really produce great players again - and this time don't have to sell them because of a "shite board".

Kazenga is a fricken marvelous player

We'll have to wait and see tbh. What counts will be how he performs on the senior stage. Although being a superior player at youth stage isn't bad, but so where the Chopras, Offiongs etc. ...
