Just talking to 2J in which we were talking about cricket and he mentioned that he was quite the player in his younger years. I went to Karate when I was younger and that was my main interest (Got my black belt when I was 12), I think thats why I never took a great interest in any of the football teams up here that much as most of my time was spent at tournaments etc.

What sport were you into, particularly good at?

Hockey. But my career was derailed when I had a falling out with my manager over my socks and I never played again.

I'm not really good at any sports, I'm shit at football, I'm a slow runner and I'm crap at other sports like tennis, badminton, basket ball etc...

Swam competitively as a teenager, had tennis coaching for a bit and was canny enough at netball and hockey. Couldn't run to catch a bus like.

I had a couple of trials when I was a young 'un. Was never going to make it though...well if it wasnt for that damn knee injury..:unsure:

Aye but we all know which courts you were heading too... :D

Reminds me of Father Ted:

"Didn't you tell me Jack once had a trial with Liverpool?"

"No, he was on trial in Liverpool"
