Moncur on Century on Saturday proudly boasted the doom mongers (?) were wrong because we aren't going to be relegated.

:)

 Result!

Still hasn't beaten the points total that took West Ham down though tbh.

He has if you exclude the matches Francis won.

Brooking :)

It's actually nonsense that he's finished 7th then got relegated the next season for each of his clubs. The actual truth hardly does him justice though - in fact it makes him look worse.

Nonsense by virtue it's true? West Ham and Watford anyway.

Gillingham - only one season, finishing second-bottom of Football League, but didn't get relegated.

Watford - 7th followed by relegation but sacked in Ferbruary.

West Ham - 7th followed by relegation but wasn;t there when they were relegated. The brain tumour was unfortunate but they'd have been even worse off has Brooking not taken over for the last few games.

So in fairness it isn't true, but the actual truth doesn't help his cause at all.

Being a bit pedantic tbh, I guess it would be more accurate to say he has been involved in two releagtions and one near relegation.

He was only player manager at Gillingham so that doesn't count :ok:

Who drafted Roeder's CV to get him this appointment? Saatchi and Saatchi?

He only had one question in the interview anyway.

Fat Fred: 'So, Glen, are you a Geordie?'

Roeder: 'No, but I played and lived here for a few years in the 80's'

Fat Fred: 'Excellent. Dougie, send that German chap away will you.'
