(By the way Nobby's been one of the best players on the pitch so far, along with Milner and Emre (sorry Wolfy but he's playing well - so far). I thought he was quite poor to start with but he got going after a while and has been playing pretty well. It might've been around the time he had to go off that was the turning point. I never questioned his work rate when it comes to winning balls - he has always been doing this. But for a supposed to be good passer of the ball his delivery is awful. To true but then again Dyer is an attacking player and most attacks he's involved in fall apart because he loses possession! TBQFH if you look at the current team/squad we have a lot of players who are allegedly "specialist" players but truth be known they just aren't quite the players they should be. Is this reflective of the club as a whole - like fuck me even those that pick man of the match (Steven Taylor fucking hell who decided that one) aren't quite up to the standard the club should have. To be fair, apart from the awful pass when we had a good chance on the break, Emre was involved in our only two good chances with two nice passes. But there should be definitely coming more of this sort of stuff. He also plays far too deep for my liking. With Butt and Emre sitting back there is a huge gap in midfield with strikers having to come deep as well. Far too negative for my liking. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can't see Nobby bollocking the defense for a lapse in concentration or tearing a new one off the forwards for not working hard enough, can you?
