Jimbo 133 Posted April 29, 2007 Share Posted April 29, 2007 Five-star PSV snatch Dutch crown PSV Eindhoven crushed Vitesse Arnhem 5-1 on the final day of the season to snatch the Dutch league championship from Ajax and AZ Alkmaar. Ronald Koeman's team finished on 75 points with a goal difference of plus 50, one better than Ajax, who ended the season with a 2-0 win at Willem II. AZ Alkmaar, who led the table with one game left, finished with 10 men as they went down 3-2 at Excelsior Rotterdam. PSV's third consecutive title puts them straight into the Champions League.
