Your favourite performance of the season? AZ Alkmaar at home. 3. Worst performance? Too many, AZ Away, Roeder and the players bottled it. 4. Best goal? Martins V Spurs away 5. Worst goal conceeded? Xabi Alonso from 75 yards when Harper fell over was pretty bad, there has been a lot of bad goals conceded. 1st goal at Fulham was shocking as well as most at home to Birmingham 6. Best Player? James Milner 7. Worst player? Stephen Carr and Celestine Babayaro 8. Most improved player? Nicky Butt. 9. Most disappointing player? Damien Duff 10. If you could have one match to re-play again, which would it be? AZ away 11. What would you consider as our luckiest perfomance? 3-1 win over Villa and 3-2 win over Spurs 12. Realistic goals for next season? Top 6 under Big Sam. 13. Biggest suprise of the past season? Scoring 2 goals in 2 minutes to win it at WHL after we had been pissed on for the entire match. 14. Bramble - contract. Owen - transfer. 19. Your favourite (not necessarily the "best") player this year? Oba Martins - without his goals we would have been relegated. 20. What is the main area the team needs to improve to gain UEFA next year? Midfield needs to improve as does the defence and we need to find a partnership that will work upront... Your favourite performance of the season? AZ Alkmaar at home. 3. Worst performance? Birmingham at home just beats Alkmaar away 4. Best goal? Martins V Spurs away 5. Worst goal conceeded? Where do you start? 6. Best Player? Nicky Butt and Nobby for looking like one of our best defenders even though he isn't one. 7. Worst player? Duff. Whilst the likes of Ramage, Carr etc are obvious choices Duff should have been a decent signing but ended up contributing nothing at all. 8. Most improved player? Nicky Butt. 9. Most disappointing player? Damien Duff 10. If you could have one match to re-play again, which would it be? AZ away 11. What would you consider as our luckiest perfomance? 3-2 win over Spurs 12. Which player do you see as making the biggest improvement next year? Depends who is still here? If Big Sam takes over I expect to see better performances from Parker, Duff and Emre 16. Well we currently have a defence that cannot defend, a midfield that struggles to string to passes together and a strikeforce that doesn't score enough goals. If the forwards we have now are here next season then that is where we are most in need.Viduka and Barton have been mentioned and as footballers both would be decent additions. Dyer made a good comeback and his performances then probably helped us gain the points that kept us up - look at the points gained then. He hasnt played well since but heyho 20. We need two centre halves, two fullbacks, (at least) one central midfielder, one right sided midfielder, one striker. Not gonna happen but squad wise that is what we need. For me, one would have been relegation and two, danger of relegation, we were shite, but not really in danger of relegation, so I'll say 3 - still pretty poor mind. 2. Your favourite performance of the season? The performances at home to Man U and Chelsea showed that we can work hard and we can battle - but that is frustrating because we don't do it enough. There wasn't anything where we dominated through silky skills though. 3. Worst performance? It has to be Birmingham at home in the FA Cup. I've never been so embarrassed, angry, humiliated, disgusted, ashamed. 4. Best goal? Martins' goal away at Spurs 5. Worst goal conceeded? Fuck. We've given away so many stupid, sloppy goals it's hard to think of one off the top of my head. 6. Best Player? Steven Taylor has come on leaps and bounds, also James Milner as well. 7. Worst player? Stephen Carr, Titus Bramble, Celestine Babayaro.... How many do you want? 8. Most improved player? Nicky Butt. Came back, head down and grafted. Alkmaar away, it was there for the taking, but stupidity, lack of bottle and perhaps arrogance meant we blew it. If I could, I'd have it replayed with a bit more passion and bottle. 11. Which single (realistic) signing would you most like to see us make? Sol Campbell or maybe Sami Hyyppia even though he's knocking on a bit now could still do a good job at the back. Your favourite performance of the season? Liverpool @ home and Penalty Shoot out Win against Watford. 3. Worst performance? Birmingham at home @ FA CUP. 4. Best goal? Nicky Butt against Spurs. (for his work effort and for the disgraceful punch he took from Pascal Chimbonda. Imo nobody deserved the goal than Butt. I really loved it ) 5. Worst goal conceeded? - 6. Best Player? Nobby Solano. (only player IMO with a cool head on the pitch) 7. Worst player? Scott Parker. (I think he was playing most of the games just because he was the captain. Butt and Emre partnership could have done better and might had taken us a few places up IMO ) 8. Most improved player? Steven Taylor. 9. Most disappointing player? Titus Bramble. ( I think he has got the potential to become one of the top defenders in EPL ...but it is just not happening.) 10. If you could have one match to re-play again, which would it be? All of the goals Birmingham scored when they beat us 5-1 6. Best Player? Nobby Solano 7. Worst player? Babayaro 8. Most improved player? Butt 9. Most disappointing player? Duff 10.
