Aye, but since he was not born in Sunderland he didn't have to overcome being a makem did he? Bit of a head start and hardly a fair comparison IMO.

Taylor had to learn how speak, to walk in a straight line, get up before midday, not rifle through his mates pockets as they stood next to him AND play football ......................
