My guess is that Freddie will see how Souness is doing after a few matches and if it isn't good enough make the change. At least a new manager would then inherit a decent first team. Edgar? Finnigan? Atkin? O'Brien? How many first team appearances do these players have betweeen them? I'll tell you: none.
